So as I'm sure many of you here know, the theme for 4am is often regarded as creepy and dark, mostly because it's the backdrop track to the Aika Village. But get this, I just read that there may be more to the theme than we may have known before.
In Japan (and China and Korea for that matter) the number 4 is often associated with being unlucky. This is because the number 4 has a similar appearance to the word 'death'.
Chinese: 4 - 四 s?, Death - 死亡 sǐ w?ng
Japanese: 4 - 四 shi, Death - 死 shi
Some of you may already know this, but now that I know, it makes the track even creepier!!! Even after Aika Village I thought it was a relaxing theme, just a little unsettling like the night, but now there's no going back for me!
