The stupid pink four shirt is back

Kyle started it. Then it just spread from there.
For about a month, I struggled to change seven of my villagers out of that blasted shirt, forcing them to buy shirts at retail, sending them shirts in the mail, even carrying shirts with hopes that they'll ping me for them.
No dice.
Finally, Pekoe got a watermelon shirt somewhere, 6 villagers. Whitney changed into a pro design, 5 villagers. Static, Mac and Big Top moved away. 2 villagers left. Diana wanted my noodle shirt. Kyle is left.
I sent him a jean jacket in the mail. The next day, he's walking around wearing it!
I was so happy, for almost a full week, my village didn't look like a gang.
And then this morning, I open my game and what do I see?
Kyle wearing the blasted pink four shirt.
And now Carmen is wearing it.

So I've been burying pitfalls around Kyle's house for the better part of the day.

I know how you feel. That default duck shirt design from Anytown is infecting my villagers like a plague.

What if people did this in real life. "Oh hey nice shirt I want the same one." "Oh here I have an exact duplicate wear it"

Nana spread her pink parka to Blanche, then to Lolly...then to Monty...then to Fang...
But Fang wore it the most...Not to mention that he copied Diana's catchphrase "No doy" and got along with a lot of my female villagers.
Monty on the other hand, changed his clothes to what Chief is wearing. I'm glad he didnt wear that frilly apron I gave him.

Try giving your villagers clothes that are in their recommended gift lists. I experimented and it worked for Nana lots of times. I even got cookie to wear the shirt i gave on her birthday, saying that it is the best gift.

I'm so sorry but this is making me laugh so hard, Kyle just HAS to ruin everything and start a gang. xD Clyde was spreading around his strawberry tee for a bit but I had plans to move out the villagers anyway so It was no big deal.

Oh my goodness that's awful lol, he could have at least picked a shirt that wasn't awful huh? My villagers get hung up on those god forsaken pre-designed shirts in retail for months, so I finally ended up taking the time to put my own designs there just so they would wear something marginally less terrible lol, it's still mostly designed shirts but at least none of them are wearing that stupid orange one anymore.
