Gaming is big. Believe it or not it is legitimately a sport. In Korea there are 2 channels devoted to Video Games (Based of ESPN). Kids from 16-24 go to retreats to train in their video game with their team and play without an off season through out the year without seeing their family.
Back when arcades first came into existence people went to them after school but thats it. Now headline worthy conventions and events are held through out the year across the world.
Video games are shaping youth into naturally accepting teamwork and multitasking not knowing anything else.
This fall has released some of the greatest games of this console generation.
Game Design courses are now given throughout the nation. (In high school)
Gamers used to average about 2 hours of TV per day. Now its 27 minutes.
Is this just the fad of the century or will the future be built off the video games we enjoy today?
