Smh Dolby with the early game pocket again. Smh...

also I'm down with the anti rqs parade, I feel pretty lazy rn :lemon:

Just got on, I need to read the thread but in the meantime I'll answer the RQS :)

1. What are your preferred pronouns and timezone?

2. How do you react to people attacking you?

3. What will you be known for in this game?

4. What do you think the town to mafia to 3rd party ratio is?

5. Name the scum team, go.

1. He, PST
2. Nothing much has changed since last game. :P I attempt to logically explain why I am not scum, although sometimes this leads me to posting rather lengthy defenses. :P I try not to get too emotional though. Last game kinda frustrated me since town got rekt, but I'm hoping we can pull it out this time.
3. Dank memes and being helpful.
4. Probably a similar ratio to last game, 11:3:1, 11:4:0, or maybe even 10:4:2. Somehow I think there's going to be more 3rd parties this game.
5. Random names: Toadsworthy, N e s s, and mogyay.

BTW Cleb's RPing as subway you guys, isn't it obvious

Those guesses are entirely random, tho I do admit I probably picked the experienced players subconsciously because they're the ones I pay attention to in games usually.

Hold up. How tf can you guess randomly and then say you subconsciously picked the experienced players?

1. What are your preferred pronouns and timezone?
Cst, She/Her
2. How do you react to people attacking you?
Idk man
3. What will you be known for in this game?
I'll tell you at the end when we know what I'll be known for kappa
4. What do you think the town to mafia to 3rd party ratio is?
Town usually has the biggest, then mafia, than 3rd party so
5. Name the scum team, go.
Anyone who said I was scum

1: He, CDT
2: Scream at the wagon until it goes away. :lemon:
3: living
4: More than likely 12:3 or 11:3:1. If there was 4 mafia it would be unbalanced as hell.
5. F11, Mogyay and Arstotzkan

I'm feeling town vibes from KermitTea right now, mostly because of the relaxed tone I'm getting behind her posts. Amazonevan19 also pinged me as townlean, mostly because of the fact that he made plenty of joke/meme posts last game as town. However, o don't really like his question that he asked Ayaya. It feels like he had a "Gotcha!" moment and sprung to the chance to accuse her of something scummy.

Not really too sure though. That's just some of my thoughts so far.

I don't really know, I think Amazon may have a point with that situation. Looking at the way Ayaya stated that, it kind of gives off the signal that Ayaya just sits and looks for the experienced players to make a minor slip up and then pounce on it. Clearly, more experienced players won't make bigger slip-ups, so I feel like it goes back to the idea of just picking straws and trying to stab someone with them.

Also; the reason I asked Ayaya for what game she played last was because I wanted to see what her RQS answers in her last game were (specifically #5), which were this:

1. What are your preferred pronouns and timezone?
She/her, GMT+7

2. How do you react to people attacking you?
Anxiety tbh

3. What will you be known for in this game?
I'll either die early or get scum leaned or barely town read by people.

4. What do you think the town to mafia to 3rd party ratio is?
I'm not sure the rule/usual ratio is, haven't played mafia in a year. I'm assuming there'd be 3 third parties? So 12 v 5 v 3

5. Name the scum team, go.
The next five people who posts after me :lemon:

Ayaya was town in SU mafia, and the comparison of #5 to this game in the sarcastic tone compared to serious one does seem a bit capricious to me. FoS:Ayaya

I understand that the point in question is valid, it's that the way Evan stated that feels forced. It sticks out like a sore thumb with the meme he posted with it.

Well I'm not saying I think ayaya is scum. Town!ayaya could easily have reason to sus the players she mentioned. I'm asking a question because it appears a bit suspect to claim you "randomly selected" people for a scum team, but then admitted you may have purposefully picked some because they're experienced. It's simply bad logic to sus purely based on experience.

Those guesses are entirely random, tho I do admit I probably picked the experienced players subconsciously because they're the ones I pay attention to in games usually.

Wasn't last game because the experienced players didn't play optimally? And if anything, experienced players should be the one we should pay attention to, because they're experienced enough to know how to get by. For example: Dolby in last game. Based on what was said on obs (since I was there) some players were suspicious on him but didn't have the confidence to go for him. IIRC town instead suspected on each other while the maf coasts by.

I don't really have time to interpret the significance of this, if any, but this is a really poor example of experienced players slipping by. Me, Endless, and Cleb that game were frequently talked about as lynch targets, and the later two were lycnhed D3 and D4. Arguably, Endless would have been lynched D2 if Zendal hadn't said something that was misconstrued as a slip. This example kinda serves to undermine putting the experienced players under scrutiny, they were from D2 onwards, and it backfired. Also, many of the people in obs were undoubtedly suspicious of me, but they weren't confident not because they feared losing a town asset, but because I made Endless look scumier than myself

I was only pushing kat because she really didn't answer the RQS before she posted her answers.

I'm use to people answering RQS on their first or secont post.

Ah, fair reasoning I suppose

Also gonna say that the behavior highlighted by Ness about Evan was done by him to an extent in Smash mafia (not gonna pull up examples as I'm on mobile)

@Dolby Did he? If so then I'm going to have to look into his posts in smash mafia, I didn't pay attention to basically days 2-3 of that game.

Current "strong" reads have f11/Kermit town, slight town on FN1, and even weaker on Zendal. Susses on Kirby and Ayaya, though I am probably going to reevaluate based on what happens when I'm asleep

Yeah, he started doing it after tu N2 post of that game and had maybe 8 posts that were just memes/emojis

Ok, I was under the impression there were more, but I checked and there were 3 or so

I don't know what else to say?? it was picked at random as I looked at the player list. No other reasons for the choice.

I see, I admit I wasn't reading the game thoroughly (it's a lot of posts and iirc I was having my final exam then) so I don't know who was considered as lynch targets, so yeah that was a bad example. My concern was, in that game, players were calling experienced players as GF, which kinda put them on pedestal and might intimidate newer or less experienced players from pursuing them. And town tends to just follow experienced players because they're really good at making a case at someone who happens to act scummy, though I don't think the players we have now have the tendency to sheep. It's just something I keep in mind due to what happened in past games.

Anyway I can see why suspecting experienced players and putting them under scrutiny would be bad, but my concern are what I explained to Dolby above.

- - - Post Merge - - -

Lol don't be so sensitive.

Anyway Ayaya's random guesses are kind of concerning, considering that she chose arguably the three most experienced players in this game. I'd rather not have a repeat of last game where the experienced players are getting suspected for the sake of being suspected, since that really didn't get us anywhere last time.

Already stated why I think experienced players should be paid attention to in my reply to Dolby, but not liking how you're twisting what I said to make it look like I'm going after experienced players.

Dolby, why sus on kirby?

@ayaya so you randomly picked them? I can accept that but it still seems a tad fishy how your initial explanation seemed to contradict itself, and how ALL of your choices "just so happened" to be top tier players.

There is only 15 players in this game. And why only name one scum guess? If you think we have 3 scum?

QUOTE]

I don't really think you guessed very good. I just find it kinda strange how you big 3 good players. Most people who guess scum in the RQS have at least one okay player, 1 good player and maybe one newbie player. scum lean on you.

I feel like Amazon is town, seems like he is playing the same like he did in smash mafia.

*** messed up on the quote.
