Not sure in what anime mood I am in the moment. I think I should finish Great Pretender, Trigun and Banana Fish first

I had wanted to read great pretender a couple years ago, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Do you watch it or read it? (tbh I didn't even know there was an anime version if so)

I plan to watch more than 600 series.

On that list I also have Saiyuki Gaiden. (totally forgot about it)
Food Wars (final saison)
One Punch Man (S2, S3)
Jojo (one day)

I really loved Dororo and Paranoia Agent but there is more violence. Uta Pri and Kamigami no Asobi are the regular otome.

You might like to know Saiyuki Gaiden has some oddly detailed bloody moments. Only three episodes and an ova. Have you seen any of the other Saiyuki shows?

I liked the original Saiyuki. What little I saw of the old Saiyuki Reload, and Saiyuki Reload Gunlock felt more like a cheaper store brand of it. I just found Saiyuki Gaiden. The quality with that one has gone back up, but you don't get a lot. I just got a hold of Saiyuki Reload Zeroin, and I'm aware Saiyuki Reload Blast exists. I'm not sure what to expect from those last two.

I've haven't seen anything of the Great Pretender. I've seen some clips of Banana Fish, and that looks funny. Is that the new Trigun or the old one?

I might want to prioritize the shows that are on Disney+ since they've removed shows from that service more than once. That narrows it down to new Hunter x Hunter for me, since I don't want to track down those discs.

No haven't seen anything yet, I bookmarked it ages ago, not sure why but forgot about it.

Great Pretender and Banana Fish are more for adults, there are drugs references, crime, nudity etc. (like many anime yeah..) I knew for Banana Fish but thought the Great Pretender was just comedy. It surprised me. Often I have no idea of what I'm watching, just choose something randomly.

I was watching the old Trigun, I may watch the new season after.

There are older anime on Tubi as well, there are many I would like to watch but I just don't have the time for all my hobbies

I'm watching the new season of spy x family (I don't know how long season 3 has been out but I try to wait awhile in case the dubbed versions don't get released right away), and i'm also rewatching the last two seasons of Demon Slayer because I have forgotten some of the events that happened in the show.

Also in other news Black Clover is supposedly coming back sometime in 2026, I'm very excited about that.

I like the unc anime, but I don't watch much anime. I'd say I enjoyed Trigun a lot.

There is one I would like to check out and the name keeps escaping me, so I'll describe it.

This guy has a sister and when she comes home, she turns into a little fangirl goblin or something and spends her weekend geeking out with gaming and everything. Know which one I mean?

Started watching Odd Taxi recently.. it's different. I'm kinda disappointed at how few episodes there are though

Also started watching Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, it's not quite what I expected, I thought there'd be way more action. I like it though!

I'd like to watch the old Time Bokan. I did find an old playlist on youtube, but it's missing a bunch of episodes. I wonder if that's too old to be on DVD.

I forgot this was coming out. I'll have to watch it some time, but Chopper's face doesn't look right. He looks so old. Like he's 50 years old. They couldn't have made him look a bit more young in his big version?

I'm having fun watching live action One Piece. Really enjoying the visuals. Even if it isn't totally accurate, the main important points of the story are being covered at a pretty good pace. I could keep watching this and hope it will cover the entire series eventually. And the anime finally resumes next month, can't wait for that.

Just watched Episode 1 of Jojo Steel Ball Run... It's well-done oh my god... One of the few times I say "it's peak" unironically. They really adapted the first bit so well, building tension/introducing the characters at a steady pace. It did not feel like 50 minutes and I already want more!!!

Unfortunately (and correct me if I'm wrong) but I think there has still been complete silence on if this will be weekly episode releases or if it's months-apart batch releases... And based on the silence I'm assuming it'll be the latter

I guess I'm fine with waiting atp because it's been so long with no anime period, but if they drop this one ep and disappear for months with still no word I am going to feel so so teased

I saw an interesting headline today. I know I keep saying things like that they're very anti-consumer to the point of buying Right Stuf anime store just to shut in down a year later, but it's true. They also keep gobbling up IP, like Disney does, just to sit on them.
