Hello everyone and welcome to The Bell Tree's latest spring event titled Farewell to New Leaf running from March 7th to 21st, 2024!
Throughout this event, we have a variety of events running on the forum to inspire you to both play and think about Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Some will require you to pop open that dusty ol' 3DS, while others you can enjoy on the forum without a copy of the game. Either way, we hope you'll enjoy remembering everything New Leaf has to offer. Finally, we have also put a focus on offering many different ways you can boost your balance of TBT Bells during this time.
This event's occurrence was initially brought on by the upcoming shutdown of online services on Nintendo 3DS starting in early April, but it has transformed into a love letter of sorts for New Leaf, rather than simply about online play. It is an opportunity for us to say goodbye to an era of Animal Crossing that won't be the same when online services are no longer possible. Players coming together on TBT to play New Leaf online was a very important moment in our history as a forum and led us to where we are today. To this day, a significant portion of our most active users joined in the early days of New Leaf!
Haven't played New Leaf in years? Be mindful of loading up your save if you are someone who cares about their villagers, as New Leaf has a bad habit of sudden villager moves occurring when playing after a long absence! Consider taking time traveling measures to avoid this if it would bother you and use the built-in Activity Log to determine when you last played.

Currencies & Prizes The main special currency for Farewell to New Leaf Is called MEOW Coupons, which you can earn by participating in all of our Farewell New Leaf activities! Additionally, we have a secondary currency called StreetPass Silver earned from participating in the dusting-style StreetPass Souvenirs activity. Prizes can be purchased in the Shop using both types of currencies.
