Tarantulas and Scorpions

YES!! I dump my tools on the ground so I am able to carry things such as clovers or hybrids- and then I realize I don't have my net with me the one time the bug wants to spawn. That's the worst.
Same here! I always have so much stuff in my pockets, but not my tools, so no wonder when I miss
so many bugs or fishs if I never put my tools close to me.

Okay two things

1. just open your gate for best friends only and tell them to not visit you (unless you don't mind having friends over)

2. how can you not love tarantulas and scorpions :<

two scorpions bit me
I almost caught one of them
i just missed by a bit, then i fainted because i got bit :(
Still waiting for another scorpion to come through... but no luck
I just go outside at night to see my illuminated tree :)

They are one of the main reasons I love the summer season. They used to make me trembled all the time but not anymore. They are actually very easy to catch in ACNL. If you don?t want anything to do with them though, don?t carry your net around.

I think it's because I'm terrified of spiders irl. Scorpions I don't really mind- I saw my first one in ACNL a few weeks ago but I wasn't really bothered by it >w<
And I might have to start opening my gates at night lol, it'll help me a lot.

They freak me out once they start to chase...

I've never had one chase me as far as I can remember, but that's only because when I see one I always back away slowly or they fall off the edge.

I wish you luck! and I always go outside to talk to my villagers or plan where I want things to go~

Once I get by them, the summer season is pretty nice. It's not my favorite because of mosquitoes too- but it's manageable. I usually only carry around my net to catch the nighttime bugs that I need for my encyclopedia. After that, I put it in a letter because it'll just take up space. Plus, I fish more than I catch bugs.

when i was a lot younger and first found out about tarantulas and scorpions in the game, i became absolutely terrified of them to the point where during the summer, i wouldn't play the game past 7 pm. now i don't mind them nearly as much, but i still get a little uneasy when i see them around.

It's nighttime. You're walking around your town taking a quick little stroll and out comes a tarantula or scorpion.
Am I the only one who is terrified of walking around at night because of those bugs?? They always show up randomly and they scare the heck out of me when I see something moving on the ground out of nowhere.

I remember when I first saw a scorpion. I was like ?wait.. what even? what was that?? I was sooo confused cause I didn?t even know scorpions/tarantulas existed in the game at that time. ?what is this music playing? what is even going on-? and then the scorpion ran at me and bit me. I was so baffled at my character fainting and respawning infront of my house, it was just pure shock. (and a little terror too lol)

i hate tarantulas and scorpions (and bees are annoying) so i almost ALWAYS keep my gates open for 'nearby visitors' so i wont run into them lol

I actually never get spooked by them...I know a lot of people do tho.

I used to get spooked a lot by Wisp back in the gamecube game and never wanted to play at night lol

No you're not the only one. One time I was walking around and didn't hear the audio cue that a tarantula was near. It quickly ran up and bit me >.> I could be wrong, but I think they usually spawn where feathers and snowflakes (depending on the event/season) appear.

WAIT there's spawn points for those????? I've seen a tarantula twice in the same spot... Oh snap!

I didn't realize it, but it makes sense that they have spawn points. I've seen most of my tarantulas and scorpions near my cafe.

They attac

First time I saw a tarantula was in Wild World. I was enjoying the fireshow at night and then I see this bigass spider crawling around and I?m all ?wth is that? but I looked around and it wasn?t there anymore. I found out what it was when my brother showed me his pet tarantula ?Billy Joe Bob?. :p

You don?t have to just don?t walk around with a net and the won?t attack you :p

I doubt it.

Just a small bump to tell you guys that I just caught the scorpion.
Everything around my house is red, so when I saw it I panicked LOL. I found my net and it hissed at me and I caught it just in time >m<;;

It's the first day of July too :)

Congrats! It must feel nice to have that out of the way.

I was walking around my town last night to catch a scarab beetle and saw a scorpion. It surprisingly didn't try to attack me and was frozen in place---I immediately caught it. I already have a scorpion displayed in my house. I ended up putting it in my locker until I decide what to do with it.

nice catch! scorpions are pretty cool, i'd rather have that as a house pet instead of the tarantula haha

protip: don't walk around with your net during times they can spawn
