Splatoon Splatoon nail art

I've had a lotta fun playing this game and I definitely wanted to do a nail art design based around. Totally got inspired after I saw cutepolish's tutorial on Youtube, so I based my nail art off the design she did.

I'm really happy how it came out, but, I know a few colors might not be quite game accurate (which is what I was going for), but I worked with the polishes I had in my collection.

If anyone has done nail art inspired by this game, I'd love to see it!

Thanks!! Haha, yeah, I love nail art... BUT, it's sooo time consuming to do... -____- Exactly why I tend to not to do more elaborate nail designs, when I even do them. XD Not including the squid, took me like an hour to do all the splatter between my two hands.

Thanks! It was a fun design to do. Despite the fact that it took a while to do, I totally would do something like this again in the future. Though... maybe not so soon... XD I am actually pretty lazy with nail art, so I usually either don't do it at all or something UBER simple, like stripes or polka dots.

I haven't had it done for too long, as I finished it last night, but so far... nope. I mean, if you count my boyfriend, whose WiiU I've been playing Splatoon on.... XD One of my other friends, who I go jogging with, saw it too, but he didn't know what it was for until I told him.

Did say it looked cool though. Be cool if someone else, like a random person or whatever noticed and knew what it was for.

What do you mean? I used my right hand to paint my left nails and left hand to paint my right nails. The latter was SERIOUSLY a pain since I'm still re-getting used to using my left hand to paint stuff again. Went though a few months with naked nails. The squid... OMFG... let's not talk about many times I had to touch that up... -____-

Thank yous~ :3 Funny you mention the long nail thing since one of my nails broke the day before I planned on painting them, so that was annoying... -___- And I actually prefer my nails to be even longer than what you see in the pics for nail art (or painting my nails in general since it just looks better, I think, with longer nails), but considering one nail broke, I was like "Screw it. I'm getting this over with before I mess up my nails more..."

I also did splatter on my toes, on the following day, which was a lil harder since other than my big toes, the rest of the nails are much smaller, so that made using 4 colors per nail a lil more annoying... XD

Ooh, if you do, totally post pics! Would love to see a pastel version of this. Definitely different from what I have seen for Splatoon nail art.
