Ok I don't like splatoon but this one of the stupidest threads I've seen
If you dislike the thread, don't post in it!Close this please.
It's basically online only, and I don't exactly have game friendly internet.
I'm not getting a game where the main point is Inklings shooting ink at each other, but getting it for a silly little hero mode?
Yeah... no. Is it really that hard to slap some CPUs into offline Turf War?
Even if I did like it, my wifi is terrible so I can't play online much :/
Sure, if there was a Player VS Computer Non Story mode, then it might be interesting because you can still use the features of online, but currently doesn't look like I will. It would be hilarious if everyone hyped up about it and then it was really bad xD
I was tempted to see how amiibo is on N3DS, but to be honest the only games you can use it on are SSB4 and Xenoblade.I think no matter what they did with the Amiibo support, people would have complained. So far people have complained about amiibo's being pretty much useless and offering mostly nothing in other games, Splatoon seems to be going the other way and looks to be giving a bit too much (though I'll have to play and judge for myself just how much it really is).
Though I dislike the general idea of amiibo anyway. It's DLC no matter how people try to justify it and what's worse is that it's mostly day-1/cut content/on disc DLC, all of which are among the worst kinds of DLC...Though like many people often say, "when Nintendo does it, it's somehow okay".
It annoys me that by buying amiibo because I just like the little figures, I'm supporting a horrible practice and making Nintendo think I'm okay with the idea...But if I don't buy them to 'vote with my wallet' I'm only really penalizing myself by not having nice things that I want.
And then Xenoblade only works with Shulk.
*laughs*
Game Box said:Use Shulk to basically unlock useless stuff! But we know that everyone who is hyped for Xenoblade will really want these, so lets use one of the rarest amiibo!
