Why the *censored.3.0* to people want to be friends with their parents on Facebook?

Because they won't let you have one unless they either have your password or are friends with you.

because kids are becoming more attached to their parents nowadays for one reason or another. call it economy, call it being too nice, whatever.

i'd post sauce, but i have none, other than i read it in some magazine/article. and even then, it's probably 90% overblown BS, in all honesty.

it's like them adding teachers and such.

internet's a secret society for people, not some social club.

Most people have to or would feel like a jerk not adding them.

Or if they added them, they dont have anything to hide.

Because they don't like freaks like this kid posting *censored.2.0* all over their wall.

What's wrong with that?
Sorry, I missed this *censored.2.0* generation of kids who hate their parents oh so much.

My dad doesn't know how to work the internet, and my mom actually didn't add me because she wanted to give me privacy.

It's just a matter of what you're comfortable with. c:

My mom added me & I said no, then she's like the next day
"Hey Lisa, I added you on Facebook!"
"Mom, I said no."
"Why won't you add me? Is there something you don't want me to see?"
"Fine mom :\"

That's how I'm like.

At least the second to last line.
My friends swear so much.

My mom doesn't have one. My dad, aunt, and cousin all want to add me, but I'm just not touching their requests. It's not like I have anything to hide, but I feel really awkward knowing that they can see everything I say. And plus, my dad is a musician and is always promoting his work. If I add him my news feed will be only him promoting his shows. My other aunt went so far as to call me and tell me to add her. I finally did, but I have her on so many privacy settings that she basically isn't my friend.

That's how my sister is.

She writes everything bad she does.

My mom added her once & went through her profile & found out a bunch of things. Haha, Anna is so stupid.

Because my mom wants to have connection with me. I do not want her to access my personal information O.o.
