something secret buried?

so i was just walking around my town and i ran into jay. i stopped and talked to him without him having a ! over his head or anything, and he said something like the following:

hey nita! have you ever gotten the feeling that there's something secret buried here in coketown? i mean not gyroids, fossils, or the occasional piece of garbage, but something BIGGER... MUCH BIGGER... no matter how much i shovel, i can't seem to find anything... maybe it's an invisible secret. let's start looking!

...? anyone else gotten anything like this, or have any idea what he's talking about? lol

i've been playing for about 2 months now, and i've never gotten this message before. i always talk to every single animal i come across when i'm walking around throughout the day. this is the third day my town has been perfect in all this time though...

i got asked for hide and seek yesterday and lost... i found the guy the SECOND after i lost... i was so depressed. =*(
