it looks like we can move shops maybe? do you think we'll be able to move houses too? or do you think this is just referring to initially setting up each shop and the location is permanent...

i’m not sure if we’ll be able to move shops and other houses once they’re set down, but an option was shown during the direct that we can move our houses, at least.

You can move houses! It says in one of the menus "Relocate" when the villager is speaking to Tom Nook about upgrading their house. Same thing applies to villager houses I believe, but don't quote me on that.

You can definitely move shops and your own house, those were confirmed
I assume we can also move villager’s houses! I’d be surprised if we couldn’t

It says there will me a "moving" option for your house and shops. So we can move them whenever

I think this probably means like placing down the shop and that will be a permanent spot but if you can constantly move house plots and shops then that would be dope.
