While I said to myself that I will not trade outside of Bell Tree, because of too much fear getting scammed and ending up in any kind of drama, I actually decided to try Nookazon out today in hope to find the villagers I'm looking for, as I was pretty much annoyed seeing the same villagers over and over again on Mystery Islands and wasting so many NMT with no result (only had luck with Kidd, who showed up on my campsite, how nice of him). At first it was kinda confusing for me of how the site works, but after getting use to it, I searched for the villagers I wanted, sent my offers (in form of NMT) to the sellers and much to my surprise... Everything worked pretty good? My offers got accepted within minutes, they sent me all Dodo codes, I arrived on their islands, dropped my tickets, walked to the villagers, was even able to use the airport to go back to my island... And someone even left positive rating for me, lol. The villagers are not 100% original, but I don't care for this that much.

Overall, I'm very glad that my try trading there worked. Of course Bell Tree is and will forever be my main trading platform, as I just feel much safer and more comfortable here. However, I may would try out Nookazon again if I ever search for a villager and have no luck on Bell Tree or on Mystery Islands.

Fro those who traded on other platforms: What was your experiences and would you trade again on those there?

I've been using Nookazon for a while now and have yet to be scammed which is a good thing.
The only thing about it is that some people on there ask for waaay to much for some villagers.
Yeah some people are quick to respond on there and some aren't when that happens I just move on.
I used mainly use it to sell all my extra DIY's that I have and maybe buy some DIY's off there has well.
I never really use it to buy villager's off there since I'm afraid of getting scammed.
But I did get Kid Cat from there for like 15 NMTS and I traded Marshal for Raymond.
I think I may have sold one one or two villager's on that site.
I mainly just try to sell or give them away on discord and sometimes twitter.

Right now I'm also using Nookmarket it was confusing at first but the people on there aren't has greedy has the one on Nookazon.

I've used it for the last couple recipes I needed. Much quicker than trying to post and arrange a trade.

I've been using it more than the TBT just because its easy.

I like Nookazon because of the ping system they have linked to Discord. It notifies sellers/buyers quickly which in turn makes them respond quicker. (: I haven't been scammed yet, but I think as long as you trade with reputable people (>10 five star ratings) you should be fine.

I've used it a few times but most sellers were unresponsive! I mostly use reddit and it's been relatively efficient though there is no rating system over there so just gotta be careful :)

i've started using nookazon and its own discord, and it's definitely a much faster trading system than tbt. i use it mainly for selling and buying diys. there are some problems with people becoming unresponsive, but i also run into a fair amount of unresponsive people on this site. for me, it's much easier to leave an honest review on nookazon than it is on here because of the 5-star system.

I really like nookazon, since its pretty easy to find what i need, and people generally respond fairly quickly.
Finding color for color trades on item varients is easy too. (Like i have the white lighthouse, and wanted another color!)

Everyone is pretty polite and i admit i enjoy the... "routine" of trading with nookazon people.
Give DodoCode, person comes, we both 'wave' emote, stand next to eachother, drop our items, and swap places to pick them up.
It's always pretty quick, and i think... out of over 100 trades, i've only had 1 person try to 'con' me?
(They claimed to have forgotten the NMT at home and asked to pay with bells, crap deal for me, but i took it was'nt a big deal)

But they have a rating system for traders so people who scam regularly would have a low score, and trustworthy traders will have nothing but 5*, so thats nice.

But i have'nt tried any of the other trading platforms,
I would'nt mind trying a new one if i cant get what i need on nookazon.

I've tried Nookazon as well a few times and find it easier and faster to trade. I have not been scammed yet, but I've only used it to trade for furniture and DIYs that I needed and have not used it to buy villagers yet.

Two of my Nookazon trades have been smooth so far (one for gold nuggets, another for Lily), it's a pretty good site plus there's also ratings for the seller so if you want to get sure safe trades then just opt for sellers that have good star ratings! Some items are insanely priced tho disclaimer so lol you just gotta find the right deal by diligently looking through the listings

I’ve been using it for the past few days and it’s usually pretty fast pace. I can sell/buy items fast as long as it’s recently listed. Usually the older listings never respond and they kept there status “online”. Probably gone through 30 trades so far and haven’t been scammed if they have a good amount of stars. The only problem I run into sometimes is slow response

I like Nookazon (despite the super inflated market lmao) because it usually has everything I want to get. To avoid getting scammed, I look at the reviews and ratings. I've never been scanned before, but the weirdest encounter I had there was this player rushing me to give her a dodo code. I was still printing out my NMTs and man did she stress me out haha. All good though, I got my item and her NMT in the end 🤷‍♀️

Reddit trade is a hidden gem though! (unless a lot of people already use it who knows) But I've always had such pleasant transactions there and people are so nice ❤️ Just like here. I'm not so careful when I trade here or reddit, but my guard are always up with discord and nookazon!

I always thought NZ was an alright alternative, but I really enjoy the community aspect of this site so I definitely stick around here, almost exclusively. NZ is basically a last resort, I sell hybrids there mostly.

Aside from here I've traded on nookazon as well. I also trade on the actrade discord (much smaller than the reddit sub which in my opinion is so much better and everyone there is really nice. I even feel cozy there) I also traded on another animal crossing discord, a very popular one and here is where I got most of my villagers as it moves extremely quickly. I've never had problems with any and I'll definitely continue using the first two I mentioned. Nookazon has helped me a lot with obtaining nmt by selling art and diys. Then I use those nmt to purchase myself needed items on nookazon as well. Win win I say for both me and the purchaser or vice versa.

I've used it a few times but most sellers were unresponsive! I mostly use reddit and it's been relatively efficient though there is no rating system over there so just gotta be careful :)

Well with nl, there was a “rate my mayor“ subreddit where you left feedback, don’t know if there’s a like a “rate my Island rep” subreddit for nh though.

I haven’t traded since April and even then, it was for flower starts (which have been fixed with Leif) nothing too big.

Sadly, i had one negative experience from nl that forces me not to trust no one (even friends) since this person stole from me, so I rarely do trades, unless I’m desperate, or can’t do it myself...besides, I’m not ready to open my town to strangers yet.

I really like nookazon. Started using it for trading today and it was so efficient!
Although i feel like once a listing is a few hours old it just becomes a bit dead and unwatched? Idk maybe I haven't used it enough yet

I enjoy Nookazon for things like buying furniture/diy. But I stick to these forums if I want to participate in events or need services :)

i use nookazon pretty often, mainly to sell my extra diy recipes! no issues with traders so far. for the most part, everyone’s quick to respond and trading’s done within 10-15 minutes or so. the online/busy/offline and rating system are extremely useful, so if you’re new i would say always check the other person’s ratings before trading!
