Shooting Stars

How many shooting stars have you seen on your island? How many times have you seen Celeste? I have played since day one and have met Celeste three times. I have yet to see a shooting star. My villagers have said nothing about any meteor showers. Right now the current dialog is bunny day and the fishing tourney.

Has anyone else not experienced shooting stars.

I don't think they say anything about meteor showers, you just have to listen out for a little jingle and once that happens pan your camera down and you'll see one!

I have had one meteor shower and Celeste has visited twice. My villagers did talk about the meteor shower on the day, before it happened in the evening. I'm not sure if it's a random chance or has something to do with the weather maybe?

idk how many times I've seen celeste off the top of my head, but a lot has been in other towns. I seem to get more meteor showers without her than ones with her

You have to be watching on a night where there are shooting stars. Theyre quite common, but not every night will have them. Basically just go about your life but at night time keep listening out for the little jingle, make sure you play with the sound decently loud

I have better luck visiting other people who are having a meteor shower. I’ve had Celeste on my island twice but no showers.

I've had Celeste for 3 visits. On her first visit my villagers talked about the meteor shower and there were a lot of shooting stars. On the other two visits there were no shooting stars.

I haven't had any meteor showers but a couple days ago while I was shooting down balloons to farm for the cherry blossom recipes, I see about three sets of shooting stars. Three sets of two each. Missed the first set of two because I didn't unequip my slingshot, got the second two because I was trying on purpose and missed the third set because of the reason I missed the first two xD

I've had an actual shower just once, a lot of villagers mentioned how it'd be a great night for stargazing or something. Celeste didn't show up that day. I've had celeste show up at my town 3x, there wasn't a shower any of those times. I've also had sporadic falling stars sometimes? its like 3 stars every 15 mins, not enough to warrant waiting or calling a shower imo

I've been playing since the game came out, and I've never seen Celeste or a meteor shower. It's a shame because I play mostly after midnight. My friend who lives on my island has saw her and made me a wand. I wish I could have been there, but I was sick that day.

I have seen Celeste three times, had a meteor shower one night, and saw a couple of shooting stars randomly one night. My husband hasn't seen them at all yet.

I've had Celeste two times (I started on the Tuesday after the game was released). The first time I got like 7 wishes in, the shooting stars were really sparse, the second time she came (a few days ago), it was complete mayhem. Just shooting star upon shooting star, I got to the 200 mark without breaking a sweat (basically I was just doing a lot of the regular chores while also wishing, and got to 200 within a couple of hours - it was just a constant rain, and I couldn't be bothered to do them all). The beaches were littered with star fragments the next day.

I've has a bunch of meteor showers the night of the full moon a couple nights ago.. I kept hearing a jingle sound and would look up.. I wouldnt just stare at the sky but just wait for the jingle sound

Isabelle always tells me in the announcements when there will be shooting stars at night. Those nights Celeste is always there

Isabelle does not announce when Celeste will be visiting your town. Or at least she hasn't announced Celeste's arrival on my island when she does visit.

I've been playing since release and haven't seen Celeste even once!! Is there are particular time she shows up, does she hang around anywhere specific on the island? I just must be missing her, but I find Wisp pretty often in the grand scheme of things.
