They should grow there. Sometimes I find like weird "dead spots" though where no bushes or trees can grow in a certain spot though so hopefully that's not the case.

i would think they would grow there, given that the trees have grown right by the path.

they should, but if there are 12 bushes or trees near them then they wont. bushes don't grow on the 13th spot. also, like Becca617 said, there are random dead spots so be wary of those too :0

Sorry to say the two in front of the house won't grow, as houses have a two space buffer in the front. The others should be fine. I don't believe in "random dead spots", in my experience there's always an underlying rule or explanation if something doesn't grow
