I hacked my Wii up a day before I sold it to see what its like, i found it almost as boring as the actual Wii so i just said screw it, i formatted and took it to the store where i sold it and all my games.

Sigh, I am of the opinion that when you get a piece of technology it becomes yours and your responsibility to avoid illegal things. It should not have to be Nintendo doing it, but at the same time the climate courts and copyrights are in basically forces them to so THEY don't get sued....

It sucks, I think it is wrong to force a company to have to put forth an effort to stop something that they cannot, but there is still a part that does it out of self preservation trying to stop piracy of sorts.

I still don't think they have a right to tell you what applications you can and cannot use on YOUR system, especially if you aren't doing anything like stealing with it... but it is what they have decided to do to deter lawsuits, and protect their own hide.

Well i think that if we spent the rediculous price of $250 (or however much it was four years ago) that we should be entitled to mess around with it. Within reason, of course. For example, no piracy. But i see nothing wrong with texture hacking or exploiting in-game secrets.

Yes, they do. When you buy a new game, it will inject the new update into your wii.

But blocking texture hacks and such just doEsn't seem logical.

Well there is a way to block disk updates and disk diagnostics when disc channel loads. I have been on system menu 3.2 for the last few months and my newest game is super mario galaxy 2.

But yes screw Nintendo is right. Have faith my friend team twizzlers will have a new bannerbomb out soon for 4.3

Dlc you have to pay for etc... is bs. Nintendo's greed is what makes hackers wanna hack more. I am the proud owner of all the major titles mario and other for the wii. Over 60 games and hardly any of which I own the game disk for. And you know what i don't give a damn. Don't even get me started on the wads for virtual console game. I am back up with legits and injects that I can't even fit on my wii. I went as far as to delete the Mii channel and every other channel up to the photo channel to get more space. And yes my mii's are still on the system I just can't get any more from here on out.

And I think by my own admission we have established that I am holding a grudge thus the 60 plus and counting games that aren't paid for so yes. That doesn't even count virtual console and wiiware games. Although I must admit Guitar hero 5 gave me some problems until I got the custom IOS that specific game uses from a disk I had to rent and do a dump on.

Don't ask what my previous life was because I enjoy using this account to help others get their wii where they want it to be. As you can see my wii is fully soft modded with everything that you can possibly want on it. I even bought a great powerful surge protector for this baby.

Because i doubt I will sustain an over 9000 vr rating. I just do it for fun now.

Usually I only hack battles now.

I have my wii wheel programmed as follows for battles.

1 star
a blue shell
b red shell
left mega shroom
right lightning bolt
plus bob omb
minus pow block

And usually use the following codes

maximum speed online (bad for block plaza though)
jumping bombs
star and shroom always
instant drifting
no countdown is fun for nailing someone before they can even move.

As far as the gamecube answer it's long since in the trash. They denied an extended warranty plan I purchased at wal-mart even though it was well with the time frame specified when I had paperwork in hand. They denied it because I had never registered the extended warranty only the regular but yet I had the paperwork to prove it.

Even beyond that though I have a good $2400 in games and that number is still growing. All or most of them free actually.
