I'm referring to a grudge against me.
Not directly but I asked what you had for me a few posts ago because in my "previous life" you had involved yourself in my thread when I actually had no problem with you at all. Don't ask what my previous life was because I enjoy using this account to help others get their wii where they want it to be. As you can see my wii is fully soft modded with everything that you can possibly want on it. I even bought a great powerful surge protector for this baby.
Oh it is you then.
How's it going?
Any progress on hacking TBT?
Hacking tbt? no reason for that kind of hacking. The wii is fine enough. That kind of harmful hacking is beyond me anyway.

There's is no point for this thread to be locked yet, at least were sticking with a civilized conversation instead of a flame war.

Judging by your post, you're WiiHaven.
I'm sure a few of us here remember your threats of hacking TBT.
I was just checking on the progress, that's all.

I must admit I am pleasantly surprised by this fact and you are right.
I'm glad to hear that because at least the Mod got the message.

Although I am pleasantly surprised by the allowance of hacking discussion. Last time I was here the word hack caused everyone to flip out and I saw some people getting their tbt shops closed because of it.

And to Travis I can't find that wiihaven member either on the memberlist. Wouldn't a zeta boards forum show them as disabled accounts you must be thinking of another forum.

There was a time of paranoia awhile back about hackers but, XIV is long gone and a lot of the random trolls and hackers are gone also.

Not really, because the only thread I got involved that warranted hate for me was WiiHaven's thread.

Also, this guy.

Yeah tell me about it. hacking animal crossing and and other wii games is about as harmless as can be. The worst that actually happens on animal crossing is someone changes the time on wifi and the session gets disconnected and that's it.

As far as what I do yeah technically it is stealing but you know what I have better things to do with my money and Nintendo deserves it. Between vc, wiiware, and wii games I must have a good $3500 in free games and another $2000 at least in torrents and current downloads. God I love team twizzlers and all the other homebrew app makers.

When it comes down to hacking AC games period, it's only good to do it when you're bored and use it to improve the town and to get items you want that are impossible to get other wise(example: Blue Falcon).

When it comes down to hacking period, just don't do anything illegal and cheat games that'll give you folly satisfaction instead of a true sense of accomplishment. I would only hack if I've beaten a game and got bored of it(example: ACWW) but, in general hacking is a bad thing to do over all because it hurts your system waranties and things.

Well most products not just electronics usually only offer warranties during periods in which the product is least likely to fail. That's why I NEVER buy extended warranties anymore for anything period. As far as hurting the warranty for the reason I stated above it is a non issue.

As far as other things like Nintendo's pocket in my case wii usb loader and an external drive make most of my money savings possible. To a lesser extent an sd card and some software for virtual console and wiiware games.I just need a bigger hard drive on the wii cause I always run out of space for save files and have to keep track of moving the save files over via extractor and installer. It just gets to be a pain in the donkey.

I see...

I have to admit that you're being smart about taking advantage of technology by trying to get your money's worth by utilizing an external hard drive but, just don't get VC and Wii Ware illegally because you're technically stealing when you do that. Just don't do anything stupid and you'll be fine. LOL

As long as your not cheating in an online game, there's no reason they should be able to shut it down. Hell, you could turn it into a toaster oven, and I wouldn't care.

Well i think that if we spent the rediculous price of $250 (or however much it was four years ago) that we should be entitled to mess around with it. Within reason, of course. For example, no piracy. But i see nothing wrong with texture hacking or exploiting in-game secrets.
But the problem with that is that the same tool that is used for texture hacks and such (the Homebrew Channel) is also used for piracy. So in order to stop piracy, they have to get rid of the Homebrew Channel.

Well its only stupid if you get caught. I think you have been missing what I am saying. I have at least a total of $3500 worth of virtual console, wiiware, and REAL WII games that I did not pay for. And a few pages ago I have made it clear that I don't mind stealing from Nintendo cause of the gamecube situation with me. I bet you are thinking yeah posting my exploits on a public forum that can link my ip address to my real address isn't smart.......................

I agree THAT would not be smart!

Well Nintendo being greedy deserves the piracy it gets. As far as updates to delete the homebrew channel there is ways around that. Read a few pages ago. Still on 3.2 with all the newest games too.

As far as the gamecube answer it's long since in the trash. They denied an extended warranty plan I purchased at wal-mart even though it was well with the time frame specified when I had paperwork in hand. They denied it because I had never registered the extended warranty only the regular but yet I had the paperwork to prove it. The gamecube had died.
