Ok, I'm back from my dream of Sandhill! The first thing I noticed was now nicely the paths around the town tree coordinate, and are laid out in a pleasing pattern and branching out into paths in three directions. The little gyroid playground is adorable, and I like the way it's laid out horizontally. Also appreciated the way the bushes at the left beach ramp led the way; I've actually never seen this done at a beach ramp before (that I can recall). The lighthouse was well-placed, and really the only criticism I have for the whole town is that the patterns at the lighthouse (and a few on the opposite cliff side of town) poke over the edge a bit, but that's really just a limitation of the game. The zen area is great, and the paths used there are an excellent match for the zen feel. The Reset Center was placed in a nice, private location, and I liked that the diagonal bridge leads to it.
Rae's school was very well thought out, and so lively with the gyroids that I was visiting the last room before I realized that that there had hardly been any music (that's a good thing). I particularly liked the two gyroids getting lectured in the principal's office.
Arna's home exterior and grand entrance were v. impressive, and I love how each room of her hotel has a distinct theme. I breakfast bar in the lobby made me hungry. I especially enjoyed the basement room, which was the most unique use of the sloppy series I've ever seen. I can imagine that after the housekeeper is done, the room will be just as tidy and fancy as the others in the hotel. So cool.
I thought it was cute that Gabe and Chester's neighboring houses had similar exteriors. Another lively house with gyroids and mannequins! LOL at Toad playing pool. The basement room seemed like a gamer VIP lounge, and was very swank. Loved the use of Nintendo patterns and signboards in this room.
N8's music shop/karaoke lounge/vocal lessons shop was very well thought out, and N8's hair was very appropriate (as one of the villagers told me, "N8 IS GR8!"). It was cool to be able to compare the sounds of the different pianos and organ; I'd never had multiple ones in the same room before. Loved the deep-voiced gyroid taking music lessons.
Please tell your sister that I loved her town!

I've visited so many dream towns, and of course each is different, but it's always fun to find a town that has so many unique ideas implemented. Sandhill was a lot of fun!
