Review the Dream Town above you!

Reserved this one a while ago!
Going to review this as I go! Sorry for the late review btw!

LOVE the spring time when the leaves are all pink. I like that you chose this time. (x

I don't see many people make paths the way you have, and to my surprise I think you chose a bery nice path and laid it out very well in that it doesn't look blocky at all! Nice job!

Agggh I'm so jealous you have a metal bench, none of my dreamies are peppies so I never got the chance to get that PWP.

Your town is very colorful but it's a little too unorganized for my personal liking. You do, however, cover a lot of space which I do like!

I like that you've spread lots of the goodies out around the town. Makes the dreamer want to find each one that there is.

I personally don't like the outfit you've given the dreamer to wear so I stuck with the pajamas, but that's all preference.

Ahh Bob and Kiki <3 I like those two villagers the most. I've also taken a recent appreciation for Genji (mainly because of his theme.)

Sometimes I wish I had a town that had its waterfall on the west like your town does but it's probably just the grass is greener on the other side mentality.

I really like the zen bell placement! Very nice secret area. <:

I am just REALLY digging your town layout honestly. Very unique, not very common seeing the mouth of the river open up in the south and I've gotta say it looks really nice.

All around, your town looks absolutely amazing, although it is very messy and could use some organizing. The layout is fantastic and I love how it all look and feels generally. Good job!

Interiors:

I like what you have going with Cora's home. The main room looks very nicely done.
ALSO WHERE DID YOU GET THAT BAMBOO FURNITURE I THINK I NEED IT IN MY SPA ROOM ASAP AHH.
Overal, Cora's home is simple and nice and pretty unique to other homes I've visited.

I -really- love the main toom in Madison's home! Really great, nice feel!!
The back room's furniture placement seemed a little lacking though. Just had a center and border furniture and stopped there. I would mix it up a bit maybe.
I REALLY like the right room a lot too. Very well placed furniture! He floor and plant go will with the sleek furniture well, and the minimalist lamp fits right in.
Really digging the sweets kitchen as well.
Tbh, I'm not a fan of the mermaid set but it does look well put together in your attic!
Your basement aeems a little random though. Only your badement and backro could use work and that's it for the interiors!

Overall, good job! The biggest con here is disorganization or lack there of when it comes to the interiors, ahaha. I understand that your da wasnt updated for a while so what I mentioned could very well be taken care of by now. xD

nice town flag btw, also where have I heard of that town tune??

Ahh thank you so much! It's been so long since I've updated, to be honest I can't even remember some of the things you are talking about! I'll look at my dream town on a friend's game :0 The interiors have changed quite a bit so there is that! Hehe. No more mermaid set (for the most part), right room is changed, etc!

Also unsure of what the town tune is, I'll let you know once I hear it!

Thank you so much for the kind comments! The town sure has changed since then but I really appreciate your feedback and I'll keep those in mind while fixing up my town!
& I agree with the clothes, not really sure what I was thinking with that. Gahah!

bump!

PLEASE remember to put your Dream Address in your reservation posts! Otherwise no one can dream of your town and the thread stops dead in it's tracks!!

Whoever ends up reviewing my dream town, I've only had the game for a month so it's not that fancy or well-made yet, but I would appreciate any helpful tips on how to improve~

Just letting you know I'm gonna be taking screenshots of my time in your town and putting them in my acnl blog >o<

For Kawaii902!
For only having the game for a month you have a good start! Lots of flowers around and really cute villagers! I love Rosie and Katt! (I'm at cat person though) :) I like your house being by the waterfall! It looks really good in the background. I think it was your mayors house. Anyways, that gorgeous set <33333 Love that set! I also love how you made the piggy bank gold to match the set :D Really good idea!!! Your house is coming together nicely!!! I've been playing on an off for over a year and you have stuff i've never seen before! Haha but anyways getting off track! You have your public work projects in good spots :) And i like how your Town hall, plaza, retail and train station are all really close together! That is really convenient!

The only thing I can suggest is keep on breeding more flowers to put around villagers houses and if you like patterns make a path going to each place? :D Like a path leading to the bridges and connects all the villagers houses together plus the town hall and retail! Also it could look neat if you put bushes and flowers around the plaza area. Like bush, flower, bush, flower, etc. ALSO! I love where you put your fountain. its like perfectly even between those two bridges and is kinda in its own little area! I thought that was really cool! Last thing! The Nyan cat thing is adorable! I want that!! Anyways keep up the good work! :) I'll have to come visit again in the future!!!

(I lost all my hybrids so i'm trying to get those back and trying to get my villagers to request more pwp)

I'd like any advice though!! :D

Town of Izzy.

First off, that is the cutest flag EVER. The pink brick looks nice with the grass pattern.I bet those illuminated trees look lovely at night.I like how clean and orderly your town is.Everything looks so colorful, and I'm sure it will be even more stunning when you get more of your hybrids back. One of my favorite spots is the fountain with the flower arch.

Hayley's house-Cute exterior.Love the pink main room. The back room with the pink regal looks great. The harvest is not one of my fave furniture sets, but you made the room look very lovely. The lovely set upstairs is nice, but might I suggest putting something in the middle part of the room so it's not all against the wall.My favorite room is the basement.I love what you did with the dot pieces and the wall and floor look great with it.With everything being pink,i think Hayley would look nice with a pink dress too.

Pikachu's house- Oh my! What happened to that poor guy.lol.Well his house is spooky, so I think his clothes fit right in.:)

Sparky's house- Not much to say, but I understand that upgrading takes time.I'm sure this house will be as lovely as Hayley's when it's finished.

I had a great time exploring your town. I'm so glad I got to visit.

Thank you so much for reviewing my town! And saying all these nice things!! :D But yeah haha i'm slowly trying to upgrade Sparky and Pikachu's houses and then decorate them really good! :D I'll have to save my dream town when the illuminated trees are glowing soon! :)

Town of Joy:

Your town is one of the most creative and most well thought out towns I have ever seen. The effort you put into having each character's house reflect the character and your attention to detail are amazing. One wouldn't necessarily think that the four characters you chose to portray would go together, but they actually work so well together in your town. I think it's because you kind of defined an area of the town that belonged to each character. Not just inside each house, but outside as well. Like, the area near the witch's house had a more autumny vibe, etc. Plus, you had super adorable face cut out standees near each house that reflected a character. I had so much fun taking pics with those! I think my favourite house was Snow White's house. What a good idea to use the garden gnomes as dwarves! I also loved the room with the farm animals. Anyway, awesome town. :) I can definitely see myself visiting again. Thanks for sharing your DA!

My own DA is in my siggy.

Nowhere has gone through a major, MAJOR update!!! I don't even think I had the Tower PWP up the last time I updated!!! I was going to wait until I could do the final last forever done update, but,, I'm really pleased with it right now,so !!! ! ! ! ! ! ! AAAA!!! There's some hybrids missing marked with blue tiles and like four items in Cecil's house I need to get. IM SO EXCITED.

I'm gonna review Amyville! I really like amye.miller's sig. Pokemon has such cool scenery. Also Agnes and Kidd are some of my favorite villagers that like, I don't want in my own town. (Or I would, if you could have more than 10... but alas.)

------

Amyville, at 5100-3279-3612

Ooooh, pokeballs! I saw Wendell as I woke up, and woah, look how cool all your Pokemon designs are, too! I can't wait to find the Gothitelle cut-out standee. It's really cool that you're combining the two best game series there are!

Excellent lining of your plaza with hedges and trees, and also good placement of your clothes left out for dreamers. And oh my god! Natural paths! I don't think I've seen effectively done natural paths yet! This is SO COOL. I also really like the red cosmos with the autumn orange trees.

Heading North-east, your town hall area is really nice. I like the moat, and the use of the Unknown "A" for your town flag. I was wondering why Wendell had that. Very cool.

I don't quite understand some of your PWP placements - the Boot Sculpture, Well, Fountain, and the little ponds that are near them. Moving on though, I really like what you've done with the Rose Archway, and then the little pocket of mushrooms and stumps. Very cute.

The park on the south side of town is really nice! I think you could do to cut back on your orange orchard in that area, to make it more cohesive. Just the top line, I think.

The area of town with all of the fruits is really cool! I like when people make a collection of all the fruits, especially lined up like you have it. Your map is perfect for it! And I see Hamlet gets a lot of love, with his house decorated with pathways and blue pansies. Great to see people care about their villagers.

INSIDE:

Nice arrangement of the Mush set. That's definitely one of my favorites. Sweets, Lovely, and Ice sets are really well put together too - what's playing in your Ice room? Your basement is really cool - the Classic set looks great with the Creepy set! Very classically creepy. I don't think I've seen the Rococo set customized like that before, it looks really good! I like how you have all of your villagers pictures up, and how they match the room, like they live there with you. Very sweet. :)

A really nice town, very refreshing and well put together. Thanks for sharing!

Nowhere

First thing I notice is the path. Blood spatters on the ground? Nice. I travel to the train station and see some paper next to the stairs leading to who knows where. I love the way you arranged the tiles to the east of the town hall to look like a crop field with some trees. Your cafe is in the perfect place too! There is even a lone bench near the cliffside where you can take a to go cup. Aww there is a stray cat surrounded by flowers next to the police station. Is it someone's grave? I'm jealous of your instrument shelter. It even has some amazing music next to it! A circle of gems! Time for a sacrifice! Your PWP placement is spot on.

Not gonna lie. Cecil's face made me laugh a bit. That's a creative way to make three eyes. His house has a bathroom for cats! Adorable! The music in the basement fits the mood and you used gyroids! Those are a rare sight. Some of them don't appear to be moving however. It's still my favorite room in the house though.

I would have liked to have heard a little more music in some of the rooms like you did with Carlos's and Cecil's basement. Have you ever tried using kk dirge in a music box?

Eli's house blew me away! The west room was awesome. You even have a little brewster family sitting in there. You left a fortune cookie note in the main room. I wonder what it says.

Sorry! I'm not really good on reviewing a town based on something I don't have any information on (WTNV). Keep up the good work though! :D

Thanks for visiting Mkay!

I'll review Mega_Cabbage's town. :) My DA is in my signature. (It's supposed to be a dense forest, hehe!)

I've never reviewed a town before, so bare with me, but I love your paths! I like how they are framed in with little flower boxes and how it makes your town look really neat and tidy as a whole. The atmosphere is beautiful with the falling cherry blossom leaves and the clear, starry night sky! I especially like the time of day/music choice.

I like how your houses, police station, town hall, etc. are all modern and they all match your paths. It really pulls your town together.

The entrance to your house is beautiful. The symmetry makes it look like an elegant courtyard! I like every room in your house. I commend those who can mix furniture sets and still get their general idea for a room across! I like the flowers in your bathroom but the back wall seems bare...I'm not sure what you could do with it exactly but maybe find something to fill up that gap? Back walls are always hard! I really enjoy how you showcase your favorite characters in your town. It really personalizes the player. The upstairs room is probably my favorite, it's gorgeous!

Your lights garden by the train station is probably my favorite part of the entire town. It's magnificent.

My only real suggestion for you would to leave out some presents/gifts for dreamers to eat/play/use. If this was my town, I would also keep the flower gardens white/pink/blue to match the path flowerboxes, and have them red/pink when appropriate (like when there is a flower arch). Other than that your town is absolutely beautiful and I would definitely visit it again.

Thanks for the review! I was thinking of adding more stuff to the bathroom too, but it seems I've reached the limit for the number of furniture items I can place in the room. I'll try swapping out a few things.

Please review Clambake (5100-4022-5551) for whoever wants to reserve next!

~Reserved for Clambake~
Just so you know, I might not get to it today, but I will get to it as soon as I can. :)

My DA is in my siggy :D

Wheee I went to Clambake and the first thing I saw were all these presents laid out. I opened them and I saw I had the option of a plaid cami dress, or a kung fu shirt and black denim pants. I picked the plaid cami dress, white stockings, santa boots and thick glasses. The thick glasses look surprisingly good on my mayor and I may just have to order myself some from my alt character when I get a chance. I tried on the headband but it didn't fit well so I just took it off.

I saw that both player houses were right near the plaza so I decided to visit them first.

First off Adam's house.

It seems like a caf?/sweet shop. Looks like Brewster has a bit of competition. ;)

Well, he WOULD if there was someone actually working the counter....Maybe they were closed?

I really enjoyed the nature theme they had going on in Adam's Caf?.

Next stop: Mkay's house.

I looked inside and I really like how the main room has mushroom furniture and it has a sort of nature theme to it. I checked the other rooms and they all reminded me of some enchanted forest with all these mushrooms and flowers everywhere. The upstairs seemed to be some sort of greenhouse, is what I imagine?

I then explored the town and I noticed that there's only black, orange and white flowers. Is there a reason for that? On that note, How did you go about getting rid of unwanted colors? Anyway, I like it! I also couldn't resist picking up and eating every single famous mushroom I saw!

The whole town seems to be like a thick forest, with tons of trees, flowers, bushes and mushrooms everywhere.

On the northern part of town, there was a fairy ring. I really enjoyed seeing that, but the only thing that bothered me was the patch of weeds in the middle of it. I noticed there were weeds elsewhere in the town and those didn't bother me so much, just that one random one in the middle of the fairy ring. I just couldn't help but pluck it. >.<

Another thing that really stood out to me was the fountain and how it has bushes all surrounding it as well as orange, black and yellow flowers. That was easily my favorite part of town.

This is random, but I just had to point out how cool it is, that you have little wrapped presents lying around. :D I quite enjoyed walking around with my cup of coffee, sipping it as I explored the town. On a related note, I found some chocolate cake in a present. It surprised me that the cake doesn't look chocolate at all! I fully expected it to. THE CAKE IS A LIE!

Randomness aside, I noticed that your paths are made up of clovers and stepping stones. It must've took a lot of WORK to gather up all those clovers to make your paths. I definitely applaud you for that and the clovers look GREAT!

One thing I would change is ...I noticed how some parts of your town is thicker and more dense than others. I know it's supposed to be a magical forest, mushroom themed town, but maybe thin out some of the trees a little bit? I had a hard time navigating in some areas. On that note, The bulletin board has a tree blocking it. I think it would look a bit better without it being in the way.

Another thing I would do is maybe have one of your benches be more like a park, and add more park PWP's.

Other than those things, I think your town looks GREAT!! Overall, 8/10. I would definitely visit that town again.

@ queertactics: I think that's the nicest review of my town I've ever received! Thanks so much! :D Oh, and K.K. Lullaby is playing in my ice room. Some people find that song to be a little creepy, but it's always been one of my favourites. :)

The next town that should be reviewed is Candyway, DA 5300-4945-1512.
