Review the Dream Town above you!

Eldar 5600 - 4310 - 4896

I like paths with edges. The Plaza looks natural next to you brick/blue flower path because of them, even though they are so different. But why are there two different brick patterns? I haven't played Phoenix Wright or Professor Layton, but it was cool to see their little tiles!

I like the little inlet you have for the triforce stump, between your two character houses. That, along with the occasional hedge-lining of your paths around corners, was a very nice touch.

I know path/mule characters can be kind of a burden, and take a lot of time to develop (especially if you aren't time traveling), but they can be really rewarding and a great asset to your town, too! Arumat's wall looks cool with your path design. Best of luck expanding upon his house, and character!

Faize's center room is cool. I like the red-customized sleek set with the wallpaper. Is that lunar horizon? Ah, I can't remember. Whatever it is, it looks good together. THE SWEETS CAFE IS SO CUTE. I love the pink-customized papa bear with it! And the sweets sofas look great back to back! Very cute room. Finally, the still ambiance of your basement was really neat. It felt really "Last of Us" esque. Simple but effective.

Back outside, the clocktower and its' surrounding sakura tiles and bamboo were very nice. I'm seeing a good use of bamboo in your town, not enough towns take advantage of this new feature in New Leaf.

Cute town! Would love to see any updates that may come.

Thanks! Cool to see someone who's heard WTNV.

I was planning to close off Management's room - no one's ever gotten out of there alive, and Cecil reports that you only see blackness inside (like how room's entryways are pitch black). I just need to find myself a Rope Partition from the Museum, haha. (((what's cool about blocked off rooms is they allow you some much needed storage space while still being ~*~*mysterious*~*~*~))).

Anyway, I'm going to do your town before I go to bed tonight! So this spot is reserved, etc

------------------------

OUTSIDE

Wow, what a scene to wake up to! There are stars reflected in the water (perfect that you used night time, and the Aurora Borealis); with stairs, beds of flowers, and corner torches like ones you would see in Rome. The stairs match your path well.

The Plaza is pretty cluttered by trees on its' outskirts - I can't get to the Cafe. But, I suppose this might be intentional, like you have a planned path for me to take. Kind of dissallows adventuring, so I'm not overly fond of this, but I'll see where it goes.

I decided to head right, to the upper part of town. Your map is really neat, because of that little strip of land up by the railroad tracks -- and you've decorated it so well! It looks absolutely fantastic, I really love it. There's a nice little bridge path over your starcrossed stream, but you can hardly see it because of the pines surrounding it. ...Maybe I just don't like trees. This might be personal bias! But, what are reviews, anyway. ((Again though, I couldn't see your instrument shelter because trees)).

Small detail that's really nice - the line of pansies by your middle bridge (the only one facing north/south). I didn't know they come in that Blue-Outside White-Inside color! And you have them lined up chromatically. Loving it.

Very, very nice perfect apple orchard! I don't think I've ever seen anyone end it off in triangles before. The log bench was a nice touch.

Love the bridges and cracked tiles by the Windmill, in the south of town. Good color coordination with the flowers lining the pathways as well. REALLY, REALLY nice job with the hedge-lining near the southern-most bridge. DIAGONALS. THATS impressive.

What's the source material this town is based off of? It sounds interesting.

The Eastern section around the town hall is very nice. I got lost in it for a bit, couldn't get out; but it looks very put-together.

INSIDE

Yukari's House: Opening room is very nice. Cool to see the bug, weeding day, and Eastern sets put together. The bathhouse looks great with the bonsai too! Lots of combinations I never expected, but go great. The cricket in the room on the left is way cool though! Maybe get him out of the corner! That's a bell cricket, right? I've got to remember to get me one of those. WHAT THE HELL THE BASEMENT IS SO BADASS. I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH YOUR BASEMENT.

Never have I ever seen so many sets combined to create one unifying theme. Your interior design is truly fantastic. Usually I don't visit inside of houses because I don't find interiors as exciting - but these have totally changed my expectations. Upped the anti. Like, holy ****. That was AWESOME.

Reimi's House: I don't know how long you're going to be able to stretch the Japanese theme and keep them looking unique. Which is fine! You do you. Gracie room on the right is way chill. Diggin it. (are you using all fake tidal-wave paintings for a reason?)

Other Houses: Lovely/Cafe set is nice together, wasn't expecting that. The basement where the witch and the bride get married is beautiful. The cloth pattern for the alpine set is a little dark? idk idk idk imho. COOL DARK PRINCESS SET. NEAT. WOW. Again, a brilliant example of your ability to combine sets I never would have guessed would go together iN A BILLION YEARS but they look like they're meant to be. Totally awesome.

All in all a great town! I feel like I was a little harsh on this one. It really truly was awesome and I enjoyed writing this up a lot. Thanks for sharing it!
Thanks. Glad you loved it.
The main theme throughout is based on the Touhou Project games and the four characters Yukari, Reimu, Alice, and Marisa(Alice and Marisa were the bride and groom). In Reimu's basement and Alice's house though each room was for a different character in the series.
Reimu's basement: Cirno, Alice's 2nd floor: Remillia Scarlet, back: Patchouli Knowledge, Basement: Flandre Scarlet, right: Alice, left: Sakuya Izayoi.
And yes, all the paintings in Reimu's back room were fakes(it's a scam from the money grubbing priestess).

Thank you! Yeah I really need to work with Arumat more on paths(I actually use him a bit more for designing clothes). Yes it is lunar horizon~ I'm using the two different brick patterns until I can figure out a solution(probably a natural dirt path!) I'm still working diligently upon it, thank you for the tips! I really love bamboo and it fits with my zen/otherworldly fantasy theme~

I wanted to do another review and I noticed that no one has done Forks yet.

Town of Forks.

I love the cute clothes you left out for me. I chose the ones on the right. Yellows my favorite flower color. It's such a bright cheerful color.Looks nice. The pink rose path is also very lovely.

I have never met Tabby before. I thought "oh my, what a cute little kitty ". Then she turned around and showed me those lovely pearly whites.lol.I also have been wanting to meet Bella, so I was happy to see her in your town.

I love it when people put cute little home made signs in there towns.I love the "please walk " sign. My favorite part of the town is the metal bench with the bright red roses around it.I like a lot of your flower combinations. You don't see too many people place red and yellow roses together. Looks great.

Rosalie's house- Small but cozy. Rosalie looks adorable.

Ichigo's house- Cool pokemon patterns. I like the design on the ranch bed.

Lilly's house- I can see that you're not finished upgrading the rooms.I do like the regal refurbished in pink and the green room upstairs looks nice.

It looks like you are still working on your town. I think it looks great so far. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad I got to visit.

My town is finally a bit more cleaner, so I'll update it.

Reserving the town above.
----
From the beginning, I really like that you laid out outfits for the dream town visitors to wear. I personally really liked the set on the right.
RDU9tQY.jpg

I like the flower placement in the town, it really brings it to life.
I also like the barrage of perfect orange trees in the upper right. Though I got hit by a pitfall running through. :P
A small detail I liked (I don't know if this was intentional. :P ) Was that the Reset Center was close to the Police Station. In Dobutsu no Mori the Movie, Resetti said that he was the law enforcer of Animal Village, so it would make sense that his centre was nearby the police station. Intentional or not, I like the little touch.
I also like the seashells going down the slope to the beach.
I like the bench placement beside your home. I also like your paths.
nvbjLrE.jpg

I really like the waterfall at the back.
iS80rkv.jpg

Ermm. Nice flag...

I don't see any major problems with the town. I'd give it a 9/10.

House Review - Lilly

I really like your main room. I especially like the Triforce on the fireplace. This room made me like the song King K.K. I always had it but I never really played it much before. :P Despite me finishing my fish collection, I still can't tell which fish are which. If that fish in the corner is a Koi, then I really like it. It fits in with the theme of the room, IMO.

The room on the left seems particularly cluttered, but it can't be helped, you still need to expand the room.

I also really like the room on the right. The Bubblegum K.K. music box really made the room come together IMO. I especially like your refurbished Regal set. I always hated the Regal Set, but now you're room made me re-think my opinion. Also one question, what item is the blue doll? I want one. :P
StXOIJT.jpg

On the back room, I never liked the Ice Series at all... Something about it I just don't like. I don't really have a problem with the room, I just really hate how bright the ice series is...

I really like your upper room also. I personally like the fish jar. Is that an item or a fish? I like it.

On the basement, if it was bigger I'd see it as a hit.

BUMP and RESERVING CRITTERS

DA: 4000-4444-2044

[EDIT]

~Town of Critters~

First and foremost, the water around your tree is gorgeous! And it's refreshing to play in the summer/spring instead of winter.

I liked the azalea bushes and purple pansies around the drinking fountain with the clear land around it. It feels very finished, if you will. Your beach was interesting, but the bees did creep me out a little. They were huge! Very unique, nonetheless. The bench overlooking the ocean was well placed, in addition.

The town park was sooooo cuuuute~ I especially love the bunny standee in my cute little bunny costume. The little sandbox fit in and matched the climbing toy really well, and the custom sign is adorable. Aaaaaaaaaa it's all so cute!! I love the board walk just above the park as well. I really like the bush and flower arrangements around that area, too.

Honey's house area made me laugh so much. It's gorgeous, first off, but the bee happy pun was just sweet.

Inside her house, the parlor with all the custom designs was nice, especially with the little lady bug. The beach upstairs was relaxing and surely any bee could relax there! Downstairs was lovely. Is Honey the bee queen? If so, what a benevolent queen she must bee. Haha! I think the park in the left room could use some music, but it's precious either way. The diner on the right reminds me of going to iHop when I was little, and it had a very homey feel with the upbeat music. Honey had a very thoughtfully put together house!

I really like your use of yellow roses throughout the town. It's really a neutralizing color and works well with pretty much anything especially the pink and yellow by retail!

The Bear Creek Lodge was endearing and a very pleasant house to visit! It reminds me of actual lodges in the mountains, haha. The first room was the perfect chamber of commerce, and I love the music choice. The left forest room was simple yet quite effective. It was serene with a hint of dangers because of the bear crossing sign. The back camping room was very well put together! I love the small details like the guitar. I'd also like to note that the custom signs around your town are so cute! In the left room, it reminds me of the little diner in Honey's house, but still manages to hold its own. Darling! The bear shirt patterns add a sweet touch of continuity with the teddy bears. Too cute! Not really quite sure what the basement was, but maybe it was the manager's office? It's clutteredness gives it an open appeal, though. The upstairs suite was cozy and delightful. Imagine the hikers turning after and adventure full day and read the little book of birds or animal tracks. Good attention to detail!

Leaving Smokey's house, I ran into the adorable mittens and went inside her equally cute tent!

I went into Lily's house next(and squealed because that's my name!). The cafe was funky and had the 'cool' vibe about it. The custom designs really contribute to that. Again, I reallly like the custom signs you put everywhere. In the left room, which was yet another diner-esque room, the delightful atmosphere created with the warm colors and upbeat Senor K.K. The frog birthday made me so happy!! The entire room was just filled with joy, and I love it!! Henry's picture adds a nice touch. The right room reminds me of every single club my grandma every attended. Bingo. Still, very clever and cute! I'm not quite sure what the back room was supposed to be, but I do know that it looks like a frog sauna. Very serene, and I love the lotus flowers! The 50's style diner downstairs was very well put together! I love the custom modern and sleek furniture with all of the other tasty sweets. Great attention to detail. Upstairs, the club had great use of gyroids. I enjoyed it very much, especially the gyroid band.

I explored the villager area after I left Lily's house. I ran into my boyfriend, Phil who kept saying cow. Odd but okay. I absolutely adored how you decorated each of the villager's houses with their own flowers, trees, and fruit!

All in all, it was a VERY well put together town, and I simply loved exploring the brightly decorated streets!

Cheers

[EDIT] I had meant to make this an edit on post #45. Please review Boidoh's town above!

Cheers!

I'll review his town! Reserved ^_^

The town of Delfino:

I love the use of bushes in your town. It's a nice alternative to dirt paths, but it's a little hard to navigate since there aren't any paths in your town, unless that is something you want to add in the future? ^_^ I like the placement of PWP's in your town, very nice.

Your flower arrangements are lovely, nice mix of them, like the roses and carnations. The zen area is coming together nicely, as well.

Boidoh's house: Wow, I love this house! The main room was cozy, and I like the gorgeous set. The princess room/ study, I think? Nice combination of some items...I never would have thought to use K.K Marathon in this room, but it fits in surprisingly! o_o The cabana room was cool, I liked how you used the turtle ^_^ Kitchen and the shop was nicely decorated. Now, the gamer's room in the basement, that is pretty unique, if I say so myself! The boxing ring was a nice touch. However, I couldn't help but notice that you had K.K Synth playing in 3 or 4 out of the 6 rooms, maybe you could add a variety of music instead? K.K Synth doesn't fit in with some of the room imo.

Shanella's house: I can tell this house is still being worked on. The main room had a clutter of items, but they fit in unusually well 0.0 Poor me, I couldn't explore the right room ;^; I think the house is developing nicely however.

I did notice you had a few items on the ground, but there was only a few. I did appreciate the bells you gave me :p (jk) I'm sure you could add more projects around town, and maybe a few more trees? Some more landscaping and I think your town is going to turn out great! ^_^

[EDIT]

❤The town of Eldar❤

Your town held promise the moment I awoke from the bed! Your plaza was simple yet completely gorgeous! One thing I would add, however, is a set of clothes for your dreamers. It's very isolating to not have any available. c: I followed the path(which was gorgeous), and the professor Layton/Phoenix Wright tile was wonderful, aaaaaah! I really love how the brown, brick tile contrasted the saturated green of the trees and bamboo. Similarly, the red from the cherries and mangoes compliments the mahogany, in addition. Both were very appealing to my eyes, especially under the night sky. The yellow bench placement was a little awkward cutting into the path like that. Maybe move the trees and paths up a little?

I really liked the cute clothes you made available. I'm coming back with my alt character for them later!❤❤❤

The fountain area was a little too tortuous for my liking, but it does have its own charm. The sporadic placement of the flowers was nice, too! I like how your flowers, bushes, and bamboo prevents large blocks of pathway! The face cutout was so cute! Avery has an odd house placement for being in front of a bridge, but that looks like it was default? Still, I really love your winding use of paths that go with the land rather than right through it!

The upper right side of town was very colorful, and had a very airy, loose feeling to it. I think this is because of the spread out PWPs that don't necessarily have too much emphasis on them. The minimalism, which I'm seeing is a theme now, is quite lovely and refreshing to see! It's a nice break from retina burning pastel colors.

I think the zen area with the bamboo and clock is my absolute favorite part of your town. It's so well put together, and reminds me of a hidden forest with the bushes and bamboo.

Your bush placement skills are pretty top notch; the placement really gives the town a finished feeling. I especially like how you boxed in the triforce stump by the houses.

I went inside Faize's house first. I really liked the front arcade room. It was pretty cramped, but it was really interesting seeing the pastel colors blend with the red sleek furniture(and the shark???) There was a lot of furniture I've never seen before which was pretty cool to see!❤ Upstairs was even more diverse than the first room. I'm not really certain what you were going for, but I really like the musical instruments. You should play some music in there to play along to! c: Is the basement a WIP mush room? The sweets room to the left is really coming along! It's already super cute, and I love the polka dot bear!❤ I cannot wait to see it finished. Maybe add some upbeat music? I don't know what you were going for in the right room, either, but I cannot wait to see what it turns out to be! Overall, I really hope to see where this house goes!! :D

Next, I went into Arumat's house. It seemed very default from the exterior, and the inside seemed very sparsely put together. Even if he is just a pattern mule, which is what I assume he is, made his house part of the town's aesthetic!

Overall, I had a blast exploring your town! Let me know if you need help with your houses!❤❤❤

Cheers!

First off, love the town tune! Sailor moon for life, yo. To be completely honest, I don't like paths much, especially ones that are only one tile. It's very blocky imo BUT just because I'm not a fan of it doesn't mean it's bad, that's just my opinion. The actual path design is very adorable and cute and I think you laid it out well, it's just something I, personally, don't like doing myself. (x Your town is very colorful and I like the placement of the bridge being RIGHT next to the waterfall. Wouldn't it be beautiful to be on a bridge like that irl? The clothes in the front were cute, and I personally liked the left selection more. (: I also really like the small detail where you put seashells on the slope on the way to the beach! (Might take that idea from you, huhuhu.) I always thought it was weird putting flowers on the beach though, because realistically it's not very possible, haha, but I do like the small rose bunch at the edge of the long beach, close to the waterfall. (Or are those hybrid gardens for breeding???)

I feel like there's something really cute or super secret that you can do with the upper most right corner of the map. Maybe a secret bench, or something like that? Seems like a waste of opportunity to make something really nice there instead of a bunch of trees, you know?

I'd give the exterior of your town in general a solid 6/10. You're on the right track, and I know it's a work in progress but there's still some awkward spaces all over the town, and I feel like you could add lots of stuff to make the town really shine!

Onto the houses and interiors! (Really quick, I love Rosalie, super cute chara!) I really like the cute little alpine house! The exterior still looks very default-ish, I'm sure there are lots of exterior designs that can make it look adorable or special and unique.

Is Ichigo's home just a little collection house? I like that you added variety to the home sizes, and not making them all completely maxed out on rooms and space!

I think the exteriors of the homes for the extra characters can be worked on, but the exterior of the mayor's home looks complete. I feel like the main room has two themed furniture sets that don't mix very well in my opinion. But hey, it's your home and it should be designed the way you like it. (x My favorite room is probably the attic! A lot of the rooms look sort of cramped though in my opinion. You probably scored high with HHA for all the sets in your home, but imo it's not something I, personally, would have done with my own home. I like to keep one single theme and you mix a lot of themes together into one house. Once again, my opinion doesn't necessarily mean that you did poorly in designing. I can see what you're trying to do with the small rooms and making them the size that they are (unless I am mistaken and they aren't done being maxed out, then ignore what I said if that's true, hehe. x v x)

General home score 5/10, since some rooms were a little cramped and I don't think the themes went well together. You also still need to work on the exteriors for the two other characters! Unless you don't want to, but it's my suggestion. (:

(omg popqueen I feel that so hard I jUST LIKE DREAMING)

Demure, 5800-5075-6794

Your pine trees are very impressive! They're placed very well, enough room between eachother to not look cramped and they look planned out, and yet not too conforming to look unnatural. I especially enjoy the three right below the plaza, separating the little inlet of rocks from the rest of the town, and the Cafe below. The mushrooms around the Plaza's tree make the tree itself feel more natural - definitely concise with the foresty theme I assume you're going for.

Where did you even get this many lucky clovers? However you did it, they work very well as a path. I'm doing a similar thing in my town (I haven't completed it yet, and am very inspired by yours to get 'er done). The sparingly placed tiles really tie it together - without them, it might just look like there's lots of clovers on the ground, but with them, you can tell that it's meant to be a path. I also like that your tiles are specifically set to winter, with a background of snow; do you have other ones with the other seasons, or are you going to keep your town in winter? I think it looks great right now.

Your flag is quite beautiful as well - the light green tones look good with everything. Impressive work!

The little inlet surrounded by bushes with clovers and a lone gyroid was very cute. :) I felt like I stumbled upon a secret clearing in the woods, what a wonderful little find! Actually made me smile.

Your flowers are an interesting case. In the north-east of town, between your drinking fountain and the... what is that, a Standing Fountain? I don't remember. The Aquarius looking one. (Very nice!) White daisies go PERFECTLY with everything around them - capturing the winter feel with white, and lined up very orderly. However, your pink roses in the center north of town kind of throw the theme off. They're nice, and they're all orderly... but that's how it looks. I think you might have them there for breeding purposes, and that's great, but it makes them look more artificial. It'd be cool to see you place them around town, or expand that little flowery area placing them in a pattern of some sort (you're good at that, look at your dasies and clovers!) stretching from the tile of the Train Station, down to the tree-lined path, over over to the lake. You can still breed them like that, too, if you're looking to fill that area completely.

There are places that you simply cannot get to unless you follow the paths you've set up. This is fine, and it leads the dreamer on an adventure of your devising - but it limits exploring outside of the box. Specifically I had a hard time finding the Stone Tile PWP, with the mushrooms around it. That's a nice little area! I guess it's just a matter of opinion, but I'm not too fond of having to stick to a set plan to enjoy all of the aspects of the town. It's certainly nice if you're into having to follow paths! So again, I think this is just a matter of opinion.

WOW your area of the town is nice. What's that called? A peninsula? Sort of? Anyway, you know what I mean. The southern half of the land, under the river, and on the left from the left-most bridge to the middle bridge. THIS is what I'm talking about with your ability to arrange flowers while appreciating negative space. The patterns flow and the flower choices (including both colors and types - I really like the lillies amongst the trees) are, well. Choice. Good to see some fruit trees, too.

By retail, your geyser is fenced in by bushes. You do this with a lot of your pwps and I think that's cool, just in this case I think you might be overdoing it.

Also, just a side note - your characters catchphrases kind of like. Throw me out of the ambivalence. Does that make sense? I'm not about to tell you how to run your town you dig like I think it kind of sucks I'm making my mayor into a character who isn't me for the purpose of sticking to a town theme - so I totally understand why you wouldn't want to do that. But I wanted to bring it up, just so you're aware.

INTERIORS

Aza's House: COOL center room. I like using Large Bookcases as sort of room dividers. Forest Life is a really cute song and I haven't heard it used all that much - it gives that room a lot of life. The kitchen is very homey, something you would actually find in a log cabin in the woods. The alpine series is great, and your customization is so nice with it. THE LAUNDRY ROOM IS SUPERB. I love it when people use small spaces. That is a great little room. I really really really like it a lot.

Cream's House: I love love love love love love love your bathhouse. I could spend all day in this room. I'm glad you didn't use any music, and just used the different types of water flowing. Absolutely gorgeous. What a cute little cafe, too! I don't think I've ever seen one quite like this before. Great use of calm, natural colors. KK Bubblegum feels a little off in here, but it does give life to the room, so I mean, that's chill. Your upstairs is gorgeous too. Please decorate my room, ahahahahaha. This is another room that I could just spend all day in, truly. I wish I could like, actually physically visit. You're really good at interior design. Especially because, in so many rooms, you're combining sets that I normally don't see together! Who woulda guessed the Princess Wall and the Blue Floor look so good togther. And the teal customized Chaise Lounge! These are three completely different colors of blue but somehow they still look great together. I bet some of that is the subtle shading the Jellyfish Lamp is giving off.

What a beautiful town! I'm going to use a lot of the ideas in your interiors for my own home, and I'm very impressed by the planning this took; and how you were able to make it look natural all the same. Can't wait to dream of it again and again!

Thanks! I actually plan on adjusting some of the trees in the northern part of the town and adjusting the little stone tablet area to make it bigger so there's more space around it! it felt cramped to me. I take a LOT of my inspiration from a town called North, mayor Rae. HIGHLY recommend you check it out! 7900-3285-6095 the tiles are inspired from hers, and i do plan on changing the tiles as the grass color changes. (: winter is sort of a boring season to me, my favorite is when the grass is dark and saturated green, like in august! and thanks for the compliment on the flag! i made it myself (//v u v//)

the top part you described with the gyroid in the center is actually a marking for the weather instrument PWP that jocks recommend. o: the daisies are still being bred, that's why they're lined like that, so they grow in between. the flowers at the top are actually for a small giveaway i'm preparing! i want as little color as possible in the flowers (except the lily garden).

hmm, i like your idea of limiting the path! I think i might want to do that. (: it's just original i used them so i can run to places without trampling flowers but in a dream, who really runs, right? i'll try to adjust to that. <:

i'm going to try and not surround my pwps as much like you said. i didnt notice it until you said it, but i'll try to minimize that. (:

oh the catchphrases? lmao idk i was just giving them something to chew on while i was working on the town. i didn't wanna turn them down, and it's something just for my entertainment (x all of their greetings are foods i think that represent them. nyoom and stuff is just my thing ahaha xD

i put k.k. bubblegum on because i was getting tired of k.k. cafe xD i was planning on changing it back when i was tired of k.k. bubblegum.

thank you so much for the compliments, it's very very flattering! i'll try to implement as much of your criticism as i can (since i totally see what you mean by all of it!) i'm really glad i decided to share my town on this site because now i know so many more ways to make my town better than originally planned!!

Which town should I review yours or queertactics'?

BTW, whoever reviews my town next, please note, Shanella's house is my sisters and she controls that home. I don't create extra characters...

-RESERVED FOR ABOVE-

I'm sorry, I probably won't be able to get to dream today, but I will do my best to as soon as I possibly can. :)

To whoever rates mine. My paths are still a work in progress and the left room in my main house is messy right now.

Town: Candyway

Mayor: Rose

EDIT: I visited Delfino and the first thing I noticed was that there weren't any pathways set up, which I thought was pretty neat. Gave the town a nice, natural feel.

Walking around, I saw the train station was the modern one, as well as the town hall. I haven't seen a town before where they were both remodeled, so that was very interesting to see.

Next to Filbert's house, I noticed the stadium lights PWP (is that what it's called?) Honestly, it just stuck out and didn't seem to flow in naturally, but that's just me.

Exploring some more, I noticed trees, flowers and bushes everywhere and it seems like you planted them to make a sort of natural path? I found that to be pretty awesome! Must've taken a lot of work. I don't think I can ever do that!

Does Isabelle consider mushrooms to be trash? Well either way, I LOVE how you used mushrooms as decorations! If she does consider them trash, she shouldn't! I couldn't resist picking up and eating every single famous mushroom and elegant mushroom I found!

Next, I checked out Boidoh's house. It felt very warm and inviting and I love each of the rooms! What stood out to me the most was the kitchen. It was amazing seeing all this delicious looking food laid out everywhere! Too bad I couldn't eat any of it.

Another room that stood out was the 7-11 room. I laughed when I saw that Link was working part-time. He doesn't have good customer service though, and ignored me when I was trying to buy something. :P

After that, I checked out Shanella's house. I know you said it was your sister's house, so I'm not going to critique that, nor am I going to critique the bells next to it, which I assume you left there for your sister. I just wanted to point out that her house reminded me of how I would decorate my house when I was younger. I got sort of a nostalgic feel looking around her house. Is your sister a child? I only ask because I remember playing the gamecube animal crossing at age 12~13 and decorating my house in a similar random style she did. I did enjoy seeing her kitchen though.

Overall, I did enjoy your town a lot and would definitely dream about it again! The ONLY thing I would change about it is the random stadium lights PWP near filbert's house, but that's just me.

Delfino is living proof that you don't need to have path patterns in order to have a good town!

do Azalea's! or whichever, haha. it's not like there's a strict set of rules you dig ;)

Also, I want Candyway! God I hope it's got something to do with candy.

Very nice waking up to all the different fruit trees. On that note, have you ever had a real persimmon? I had one like, a month ago, for the first time, and they're incredible!! I like your paths as well - are you going to fill your whole Plaza with the candycane path? Either way, it looks good. I like the chocolate path as well.

I found Wendell and woah,I love your Guard Uniform!! It's Copper and Booker from Wild World! I wish I had the room to take that home with me. Your clothing designs are really nice as well.

I like some of the foundation for a path-lining you have going. The red-white-pink looks really good with your paths and is very reminiscent of a candycane sort of color scheme. Keep working on that!

Your PWPs are really nice - why are they all towards the rivers and edges of cliffs? It'd be nice to see them more in the center of town - I know you're working with a LOT of lakes (I didn't even know you could HAVE that many) and villagers houses are all over the place, but maybe place some of the less critical PWPs towards the center areas of the four quadrants of your town. Like fountains, benches, etc. It'd also be nice to have some lights!

You have lots of perfect apples - have you ever considered like, having some of them die? And then making one house like a Dentist's Office? Because candy rots teeth? And maybe those "candy" perfect apples rotted the trees? Is that too morbid? Obviously you don't have to I just think it'd be funny; and apples are the ideal fruits to do it with.

Rosie's house: Ha, K.K. Moody is one of my favorite K.K songs. The olive customized minimalist set is really nice! I really like your bathroom, too. The Alpine wall is really cute! I like it when people make their houses into actually functional houses, rather than displays of furniture. Like, I don't think I have a single toilet in my town.Yikes. And hey, the left room isn't a mess! It just needs to be expanded a little bit. It's entirely organized. That's gonna be a sweet little kitchen. I looooooooove your attic though. The pink customized Rococo set is really cute, and all the rainbows and white polka dots make it even cuter. I like how you used the Candy Jar to tie in the rainbow items with your customized bed. That really made it feel like the rainbows weren't sticking out, but rather, a subliminal theme in this room. Very nice work.

Charlie's house: Seriously, please consider making this kid a dentist. The stripe set goes surprisingly well with the astro set though, good eye.

Janine's house: The fairytale exterior is going to go very well with your overall candy theme! Nice ice and mermaid sets! Now I feel like Janine is some sort of a Selkie. Y'know, that nordic mythical creature, kind of like a mermaid, but also an arctic seal... but like a were-....seal........ ok maybe you'd have to look it up. I totally imagine Janine as a Selkie but I can't describe it properly. x) Her stuff is very nice, is the point.

All in all a very cute town. Good luck with your expansion!

Reserving this post! About to visit queertactic's dream town!

My dream address is 4400-4331-6617. Hasn't been updated in a while though!
(edit)

Nowhere!

First impressions: Blood on the ground right away! GAH! As per usual, I picked out an outfit right away. I could tell by your tiles near the tree that it is a Welcome to Nightvale themed town. While I have no clue what that actually is, I am familiar with the characters/logo/etc from Tumblr!

First half of the town: (as in the top half, gaha) I seldom visit dreamtowns with little or no trees and no 'set' paths, so it was quite interesting for me. As I said, I'm not familiar with WtN but I can assume that some of the PWPs/items laid about relate to it!

Second half of the town: (bottom half) A bit more 'developed' areas down here? I like the orange and yellow flowers around the instrument shelter by Re-Tail! The broadcasting tower and satellite dish near Cecil's house are nice, especially because I know that Welcome to Nightvale is supposed to be some sort of broadcast! The 'stairs leading into the dark' tiles that you've used in some places kinda messed with my head!

Inside of Eli's home: Well, first of all, I had no idea that dropped trash goes into a bug case! How funny! What a nice lil' desert, though I'll assume something bad happened there judging by the man with the gas mask. Downstairs is very spooky, I like the mix of the Spooky theme with the other items! I didn't even know that the black bust with purple eyes was an item that existed (the one in front of the fortune teller's ball), so that was a surprise to me! Upstairs is nice as well, it feels home-y (bedroom-y?) and I like the music!

Inside of Cecil's home: Lovely main room! As I had said, I know that WtN is a broadcasting-style podcast, and I could immediately recognize that the main room is a recording/broadcasting studio! Side room to the left is empty (understandable!) and the right room seems to be some sort of break room? I'd likely change the floor to Birch Flooring or some sort of tile, but that's just me! The downstairs is.. interesting. I'm assuming I'd have to be a part of the fandom to understand this? Hehe! Same for the upstairs!

Inside of Carlos' home: So scientific! I'm going to assume he's a scientist or weather predictor? Simple upstairs, I like the radio next to the bed! Downstairs looks like a scary game of volleyball -- my favorite.

Inside of Tamika's tent: Yikes! Right when I walked in, Tamika was standing at the door! Wasn't expecting that.. I'm unsure of if the tent (as apposed to a house) is inTENTional or not (get the joke haha in/tent/ional), but I do like what you have so far!

Overall positives: Although I don't know much about Nightvale, I liked the town! I'm not too entirely sure if it is fully Nightvale themed, but enjoyed it all the same! The homes are nice as well.

Overall suggestions: I would personally try different paths! While it takes more tile space, I really like paths with some sort of border!
