I've only had Redd twice. Only twice! How can the game keep me from my cousin? I'm honestly ashamed of my art gallery....but seriously...they need to update the special visitor rotation. There is no reason for Leif to show up every week. Today he is in my town and its annoyed me to no end. Once you buy all the non-native flowers, they can then be bought at Nooks Cranny anyway so he's only useful in getting shrubs. I haven't seen Labelle since last month! Hopefully the next update changes some things for the better

I got Gulliver on Monday and Label on Tuesday so no Redd this week. No Redd last week either. I've created another character so that when he does show up I can at least get a bit more art. I really like getting the alt coloured items from him too.
A bit of a rant:

I don't need to fill up my museum quickly at all, but I agree that seeing him once every few weeks compared to seeing other NPCs every week kind of grinds my gears.
My beef with it is the fact that in addition to not seeing Redd, I'm also not seeing Flick or CJ as well.
I get Lief, Kicks, Saharah, Gulliver, and Labelle on a regular basis.
I don't time travel, but I've seen Labelle so many weeks in a row that I now own her coat, hat, shirt, sunglasses, and somethings else. Her clothing isn't my style; I only wear her shirt and hat.
I also own all the flowers and bushes and don't bother with Lief any more. I guess I shouldn't have bought so heavily in the earlier days.
My inventory is stuffed with wallpapers from Saharah and some rugs. I've had bad luck with rugs so I've focused on wallpapers and flooring.
My inventory is also stuffed with clothing items I would never buy, courtesy of Gulliver.
And finally, I have exactly 3 bug models and 1 fish model.
I don't necessarily need to see Redd, CJ, or Flick, every week or even every other week, but I feel like my RNG is downright atrocious.
I haven't hit any of my villagers with my net and I won't, but I gave some NPCs a good whack the last time I saw them.
