Redd needs to appear more often...

So far this week I’ve had Kicks yesterday and Saharah today.
Surely Redd will finally show up this week after nearly a whole month being gone, or else I might have a mental break down
An entire month?? Yikes! And I thought my luck was bad. I haven't seen Redd for two weeks now. At this point I have just given up and I just rely on other people to get my weekly art fix.

I got Redd for the first two visits, one to set up the museum addition and then a second time to buy my first piece of art from the boat. I haven't seen him since. If this is how rare his appearances are, it will take years to complete the art part of the museum, especially since I don't like to TT. That just doesn't seem right. I agree with what others are saying about Leif. I haven't bought anything from him on his last three visits because I already have what I need from him unless he offers something new. I'd rather see Leif rarely and Redd once a week or so.

Yes he should appear more frequently. Or at least change his policy to up to 2 pieces of art.

saw him when the update first came out... got him again for the first time this past weekend.

He's only shown up on my island 3 times counting the first meeting. The last time he showed up everything was fake. My friend let me go to her island when he was there and I got one painting from her and one from him. I know that he's supposed to have an equal chance of showing up as the others but I'm not seeing it. Leif shows up the most followed by Saharah and Kicks, then Gulliver and then Label and Redd. Label,Kicks and Leif to me are pointless. I have bought 1 item total from kicks and a few flowers from leif thats it. I know people say that if Redd comes too often we'll run out of stuff to buy from him Leif comes all the time and really how many flowers and bushes can you buy? CJ and Flick at least have a real purpose unlike label. Gulliver i like and i do want the items but mostly im after the golden shovel recipe but they do need to seriously reduce his dialogue its way too long. I wish there was an app on the phone where we could call redd and try to bribe him to come more often.

He really should replace Kicks on the weekly guaranteed visitors. Kicks doesn't have enough stock to warrant being a weekly visitor. Either way, I think eventually Redd will be weekly as some of the current visitors most likely will get their own shop or move into an existing one in the future. Still sucks currently since Redd at best will only appear once every 2 weeks.

Time traveling makes finding Redd pretty easy, although that's in comparison to not TTing at all. Also, people trade for genuine art. Selling art is a pretty good way to make IGB / NMT / TBT right now, even if the artwork that you're selling is fake.

I agree. I just saw Redd about two days ago if I recall correctly, but Gulliver has not shown up this whole month. I'm thinking they should make it possible to have two NPCs show up on the same day. I don't care how they do it, I just want that Tam O'Shanter hat and he hasn't showed his beak in the longest time.

they really should. it's their decision anyway to not have more buildings/main street area this time around, so yeah of course there will be plenty of visiting vendors that we'll be waiting for

as someone who tt’s a lot!! i still struggle to find redd!
That's why when I found him, I spent all weekend TTing back and forth between that day and the next to stock up on his art because finding him by TTing day by day was so tediousss.

I forgot the last time Redd came to my town. It was waaaay too long ago.
Honestly, the spawn rate of special guests should be adjusted in general. I’ve played every day since release, that is to say 68 days, and I’ve only had Flick show up twice, for example.
By contrast, though, I’ll often get Kicks showing up in the plaza multiple times a week and C.J. Has shown up, like... at least 12 times by now.
