Real name or not?

Oh hell no, i don't use my name, because my name is fricking long. I have a composed name, of 12 characters if you don't count the Space in between. Even if my name was short, I wouldn't use it because it'll feel awkward that strangers pay know my name and whatever . Except if it is a common name that i have, but I don't.

Yeah, my mayor's name is the same as my real name. Not sure what names I'll use if or when I make any alt-characters.

My main town mayor has my name (Sarah), my secondary town's mayor is named Sunny.

I use my nickname, Jess, instead of Jessica cause it sounds less formal, even if I'm the mayor

And actually, my real name would be too long.

No I don't use my real name. Animal Crossing is like a getaway for me, a break from the real world. I use the Name Imagine, as I love the word

Even if I wanted to use my real name, I couldn't because it's too long. :/

I refuse to use my real name in video games. I will almost always use Klauser.

I use my nickname. My real name is Julienne. I don't like using it in games because it's so long. Usually I'm Jules or J.

My name's in the dictionary as Japanese currency, so I don't really care much about whether I use them in game or not. If I don't use my real name, I'll just resort to a joke name called Yukiden, which is shorten form of "You Kidding", but it seems to have a connection to some religious building or porcelain doll site.

I used my real name because it's so much simpler. I have someone on my friend list who has one name for her 3ds, a name for her character in acnl but wants me to call her by her real name. It's very confusing and I like to make things easy.

I use my real name, although I used Swurve in City Folk. I almost used it in New Leaf, but decided not to.

I used Isa because my friends kept calling me Isabelle (even tho that's not how my name is spelled) and it was annoying me LOL

I used Nani instead of my real name, a nickname I got ever since elementary school. I just feel straight up uncomfortable when I see my name in games.

I used to use my real name (Steph -- Stephanie was too long) but after using it for 3 generations of AC games I figured it was time to change, especially because I hate the name Steph for me lol
So I chose Tauriel from the new Hobbit movie. I just love it and for some reason it's made the game more enjoyable, and I can dress my character like an elf and it fits

I didn't use my real name for my mayor, but I did use it for one of my other players.
My mayor's name is Panda.

I don't think I've ever named any character in a game after myself. They don't look like me. Plus I don't like the idea of playing with myself. XD

But my character's name is Jane. It relates to my town name. Jane & Finch.
