I'm so excited for the fireworks! Last year my friend gave me some designs to turn into fireworks.. most of which were Kappa faces and other assorted memes.. it was a good time.

I really love the cicadas in Animal Crossing! I'll miss them a lot. The fireworks are fun, so I'll be looking forward to that.

Me too! I find the sound relaxing for some reason I didn't realize they'll be gone after today... Bummer!

There will be cicadas in August! I just call July "Cicada month" because they swarm the towns out of nowhere in July xD

I don't know the proper protocol or if this is the right or wrong place to post this, so if it's not please let me know and I will correct it. I am VERY late to the Animal Crossing game. I just started playing two days ago and I LOVE it. I'm having so much fun but then I kinda feel like I might be missing out because I missed playing at the height of this game's popularity. I have no friends who currently play and I would love some, just to see others towns and layouts and help watering plants---to have a sense of community. I am playing New Leaf. My friend code should be in my info, I would be grateful if anyone would be willing to add me. Let me know too if I can add you.

Can't wait for the fireworks! Also, August 8th is my birthday so I'm looking forward to this month!
I have caught all the bugs/fish that are leaving July so I'm all set thank goodness, in one day I caught over 50% for every catalog of species, and ive had my town for almost a year. Just never bothered to complete them until now for some reason xD

You should probably post this on The Train Station, since it's the main board of friend code exchanging and where people go to add friends and visit other towns However, I'd say you should first write a little introduction post on the Introduction Board so that people on this forum know you
