For those not familiar there was a youtube channel called the Urban Rescue Ranch. Here is a less meme filled introduction to what Uncle Ben does, made for a local news station:

One of of his prairie dogs was named Big Ounce. He had survived cancer and being attacked by a love rival. May he rest:

awe, rest in peace big ounce. i’ve never heard of urban rescue ranch before, but animal loss is always devastating. big ounce sounds like he was a really cool, strong little fella. prairie dogs are so cute.

I’m not familiar with this channel, but I love prairie dogs. One of my favorite parts of the zoo! I found one Japanese YouTube channel where this guy has some from the black market, as well as a marmot, and while they’re cute, it’s obvious the prairie dogs don’t have the best living conditions. It’s refreshing to see one who was treated so well.

He is a goofus, he did name a goat Markiplier, and it ended up getting pregnant.
