For those not familiar there was a youtube channel called the Urban Rescue Ranch. Here is a less meme filled introduction to what Uncle Ben does, made for a local news station:

One of of his prairie dogs was named Big Ounce. He had survived cancer and being attacked by a love rival. May he rest:

awe, rest in peace big ounce. i’ve never heard of urban rescue ranch before, but animal loss is always devastating. big ounce sounds like he was a really cool, strong little fella. prairie dogs are so cute. ❤️‍🩹

I’m not familiar with this channel, but I love prairie dogs. 💕 One of my favorite parts of the zoo! I found one Japanese YouTube channel where this guy has some from the black market, as well as a marmot, and while they’re cute, it’s obvious the prairie dogs don’t have the best living conditions. It’s refreshing to see one who was treated so well.
R.I.P. and blessed journey to Big Ounce.

Ohh that's really sad ;; My mom and I watch Urban Rescue Ranch from time to time, even through the weird humor style it's clear how much Uncle Ben cares for his animals. R.I.P for real this time Big Ounce.
