Question about ordinance

So for the longest time I've wanted to switch my town ordinance from the beautiful town ordinance so that I can do things like grow weeds to pick up, make golden roses and what not but at this point I already have a ton of flowers. If I switched my town ordinance for a little while, how often would my flowers wilt? For some reason at some point I thought they would all just die if I didn't have the beautiful town ordinance but that just wouldn't make any sense

But as someone who plays day by day that shouldn't be too much of a problem since I could just water them and they'd come back to life the following day.

that is true. as long as you water any wilted flowers, you shouldn't lose any

weeds to pick up? like for the badges? You can ask people if you can go to their cycling town, they'll probably let you. plus its super easy to weed
