Question about Harvest Festival

Is the harvest festival holiday exclusive to the NA region, or is it part of every region in New Leaf. I know there are regional exclusive holidays, but what about the Harvest Festival?

The Harvest Festival is not region exclusive. 2 years ago (before it came out in NA) I watched Lin and Kohei's Let's Play of the Harvest Festival and they were playing the Japanese version.

I'm not sure, but I think harvest festival is celebrated everywhere in NL. I know that in Europe it is celebrated. I did a quick search and I did not find that it is not celebrated in some areas.

Best way to find out is to wait for Harvest Festival to actually come!

That's weird. It's region-neutral holiday when in reality it's only celebrated in Canada and United States (that's even based after the US Thanksgivings).

^ Plenty of cultures have had festivals related to harvests. In a game that's so focused on living in the country, it makes sense that there would be a festival celebrating it! Obviously, in some parts of the world, it wouldn't make sense for it to be in November, but then again, in some parts of the world, December wouldn't be a winter month either.
