I recently started playing ACNL again because of the new update, but there's still a lot of things that I would like to know more about. I tried to look up some of these online but couldnt find much info about them.

It would help me out a lot if you guys could clear up some of my questions about the new update, or let me know if there's already an info thread on the forums!

Please answer any of these questions:

1. If I travel back in time any number of days, does it still count as one day in-game?

2. I've gathered that villagers now tell you they'll move out 10 days ahead instead of 5 days. Is it still true that on their moving day I can travel any number of days into the future without any other villagers moving out?

3. I understand that you can get villagers summoned with an amiibo card to move into your town. Do they then stay there permanently? And if they don't, could you reuse the card to make them move in again?

4. Can you trade villagers that you've had move in with an amiibo card? Or only certain ones?

5. Do you still have to cycle through 16 villagers to get a villager that moved out again?

6. Has anything changed considering where villagers will plot their house? Can you still plot-reset, for example?

If there are any other things that I may not know about the new update, please let me know! Thanks a bunch in advance! :)

With the cards you can instantly move that villager in. And if they move out, move them in again with the card.

1. Yes.
2. They do take 10 days, and yes, villagers still only move out one at a time.
3. The answer to this one is strange. Some say their amiibos never, ever ping to move, while others say their amiibos ping often. I think the former is my own case, but I usually kick them out with amiibos if I need to. If amiibos (or any villagers) do move out, you can move them right back in without needing to cycle through 16 villagers.
4. I know HHD amiibo card villagers can be given to others just like any other, but I don't know about WA. I think they can.
5. Yes, but Amiibos override it.
6. Nothing's changed except they don't plot on patterns anymore, unless they absolutely need to.

hope this helps! sorry for any typos, i'm on mobile

Thanks for answering! It's Cheri's moving day, so does that mean I can move to whatever day I want without anyone (apart from Cheri) moving out?

Amiibo scans NEVER move out.

I've been stuck for 5 months with 7 of them.
Only my 3 natural villagers ever ping to move.

i'm very sorry for the late answer, but yes, only cheri will have moved out.
