agreed - it’s kind of him to wanna help people out but i don’t think hacking is the way to go about it ;;

I think if the people receiving Raymond are okay with him being hacked I guess it's fine. Personally I'd be wary of hacked villagers, but when people are desperate... Still though, it's kind of them to give him away for free.

Its a good thing even though its hacked, at least people don't have to spend real money, bells or NMT just to get him.

He isn't charging 50$ like some dishonest chumps on Ebay and Facebook. Also, he isn't hiding he hacked Raymond so...I have nothing against it.

It's on the interested adopter if they're willing to subject themeslves to a cruel and sadistic cycle of wanting to get Raymond OR they get Raymond easily except it betrays their moral beliefs/self-imposed limitations.

I'm totally paying no one 30-50$ for Raymond so I'd grab the free Raymond if I didn't have him already.

I don't see anything inherently immoral/unethical/wrong about hacking. It's the end result that determines that particular judgement, not the action itself. I think this is pretty easily a net good for the community.

If people want star fragment trees for aesthetics despite all the problems that my arise from it, I'm really not surprised that hacked Raymond is available. As long as the people that engage with said trader knows that it's hacked and any potential consequences, I don't really have an issue with it. I think it's fine to be a purist in a sense, but if others want to play this way, it's not my business to judge
