So recently, I let my younger sister play Animal Crossing: New Horizons on my Nintendo Switch. It's been a while since she last played the game, since she gave away her own switch to our sister (she moved out of the house) and she started playing the game on her switch, thus overwriting her data because she didn't save I guess idk. Sadly, my sister doesn't have enough money to buy a new switch. I was trying to move into her island on my switch, but there's just one tiny little problem: we're playing the game on the exact same switch!
Moving into her island would be impossible, since I forgot to save my island, so I feel like the only way I could still play Animal Crossing on my switch with my sister is to just start all over and create a brand new island from scratch. I don't really know what else to do and I feel like my hands are tied. I could move into someone else's island on this forum, but I'm pretty sure that'll require me having to make a new island in order to do so. I can't believe my island is gone. It took me a whole year to get to where I was. Now I'll never get it back.
Edit: Oh wait nvm I just moved into my sister's island.
