Chillin'
The Nintendo eShop just took my money.
I was using my debit card to download Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (at midnight) and for whatever reason, it said "This card cannot be used. Please contact your credit card company." I had $80 in that account, so there was not a shortage of funds. After being frustrated, I eventually went out to buy some physical eShop cards and the cashier said that I didn't have enough funds. I checked on my bank through my phone app and it said that $39.99 was processing. I went back onto the eShop and it says the balance is $0.00.
I checked to see if I could download or if the game was downloading, but there's nothing. It's asking me to put $39.99 in funds. I'm absolutely pissed. I've been waiting for this game to come out since it was announced and the Nintendo customer service office won't be open until tomorrow at 6am. This is the first time that I've ever had this issue. Now I have to sit here and stress about my money & be jealous of everyone who is already playing... I'm so upset.
EDIT (11/21): I called both the bank and Nintendo this morning. Neither side is able to fix or cancel the transaction, so I'll have to wait a few days to see if the money is put back in by default. Thanks for all the support, everyone! I needed to vent so badly last night, but I'm sure this will get resolved soon.
EDIT (11/25): Still hasn't processed.
