Recently someone stole over 300tbt worth of hybrid flowers from my town, while i was doing something and forgot to close the gates. When I came back, the person was gone and I was missing a ton of flowers.
If you are going to leave your gates open overnight, make sure you put away your hybrid flowers.
He/she briefed all my hybrid growing things too. I'm not mad about that but
PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!

Really sorry to hear that happened to you.
That's why whenever I have someone over, I try to keep up with them and watch them. Because one time, I had one of my golden roses either trampled on or stolen. I didn't know who it was, since I had multiple visitors that day.

I had that happen with my flowers too but one time some one stole my gold tools and i check them few mins ago but then came c back around to my house they left arg you litte cheese cake theft (and they told me they did't steal it amm ammh you where the only person who came in ,The worst thing that happen to me was a double team ( I had lots of people coming over for free items ,two people came by ( those two seem very nice ) and i had another peson too they all wanted to explore and i said yes.In the end they two of them took flowers ,one picks flowers when the locker one gose back home (and rats them out but in the case they have the flowers in there locker ...but i think its the other person .

That sucks, you cant even catch the person. I hope you deleted everyone that may have been suspicious I'm always nervous when I have people come to my town because I have hybrids all over the place, I pretty much have them set up in a way where I would notice something is missing though. Hope you grow them back quickly

That seems reasonable. I wouldn't do that because people would probably steal my stuff.

That's horrible! I do hope that you somehow get back your hybrids again.

Its stupid how people now can't even leave their gates open without someone coming in and taking things. They really need for the next game a disable button that if you click on it and leave your gates open no one can destroy or take anything.

Just like the a dream suit ( you can take stuff /but when you get back to your town the item won't be there

omg that is horrible! recently i got back into acnl so im deleting everyone from my list, except for close friends i know personally.

if i were you, i would delete friend codes after trading with that person, it might make you re-add them but atleast you'll be safe!
