I learned about Pluto water today and now I think Pluto Waters would be a cool drag name.
That’s so weird that the United States would ban certain baby names despite having freedom of speech. But then again, nobody wants to name their children “Adolf” these days since that name is forever tainted. Even some businessman with the name Adolf went by the name “Adi” after World War II.So among the banned baby names in the U.S. are King, Queen, Majesty, Santa Claus, and Nutella…. Who names their baby after a hazelnut spread?!(Or Santa, for that matter)
Actually, I think these are certain states, and they only recently came into effect. “Adolf Hitler” is banned in some areas, but not “Adolf.” (I think Adolf on its own is banned in European countries, which is understandable.) “Jesus Christ” is banned in some areas, but Jesus is a popular name among Hispanic families…so only the “Christ” part is banned. That’s so weird that the United States would ban certain baby names despite having freedom of speech. As for names I wouldn’t use on my babies (if I had any), I would refrain from using the names Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed, since I would consider that impersonation of the holy prophets. Those names are too unique for me to associate with anyone else.
Ah, yes! Lucifer. Adolf only became more of a taboo name since Hitler’s rise to power, but Lucifer would never be an acceptable name. To a religious person, why would you name your child after Satan? To a non-religious person, naming your child Lucifer could set your child up for bullying around Christian kids.Actually, I think these are certain states, and they only recently came into effect.
Lucifer is banned in New Zealand, which I get, too.
