Maybe this is me being an old generation, but walk away from any negative social media. There is too much life directly around you to discover organically.

It doesn’t upset me. It’s just annoying (to me) at worst. I don’t even have TikTok, but everyone else does so I’m constantly exposed to whatever new trends there are. But like I said, it’s mostly just a nuisance. I can definitely understand how social media is toxic though.
 

This mf:

- has a really cool design
- appears in two games and has almost no relevance in the latter
- has one of the most pathetic fights in either game (fortunately, I haven’t played X6 yet, but he’s insanely easy in X5 and I don’t think his fight is different in X6, especially considering that it was made in 10 months)
- casually kills everyone on the Space Colony Eurasia to make it crash into Earth, which was very likely to kill the entire population of the planet. Why? He was getting bored and was being paid to do it
- teleports away after every fight so that he never actually dies
- doesn’t have any animosity towards X, Zero, or any of the people working with the Maverick Hunters despite them being enemies and interacts with them like they’re his friends. But like he’s a really annoying friend. He even says he’s only there to disturb you before his first fight in X5
- completely vanishes after X6 so he gets no comeuppance at all for being willing to kill everyone on Earth
- has a fire theme song
- has some of the most fanart drawn of him and is also one of the most popular husbandos in the series, as well as people defending him and saying that he’s somehow not that bad of a person

And all of those things make him the one of the funniest characters in the series to me. I think he just learned the system of how a character becomes popular and abused it.

I keep getting an ad about Amazon Prime being free for 18-24 year olds.

I haven't tried the offer yet, but I would take it just to try out Amazon Music.
 
I'm thinking about digging out my copy of the old Mario Bros. movie or buying Waterworld on dvd because Dennis Hopper plays a good wacky yet competent villain. I do need a wacky villain fix, bit there has to be a better option.
 
I no longer smoke, vape or use moist snuff/dip tobacco. I only use snus/pouches. Grant it, nicotine is still nicotine but as far as I'm concerned this is the least harmful method of use.
 
So Nintendo won’t tolerate piracy, console modding, or lawsuits for corporate abuses. It’s only a matter of time before Nintendo starts suing people for criticizing them or tarnishing their reputation in areas where the target is telling the truth.
 
i just had one of those naps where you wake up and you forget who you are, where you are and what time it is. i literally woke up and thought i had slept 12+ hours until the morning but it was 4 PM 🤣

This makes me wonder what Doug Bowser did when he worked for EA.
 
There is a rabbit outside that is bigger than my smallest dog and rivals my other dogs. Except one. It's been hanging around the fence. My dog that is smaller than it is afraid of it and jumps when he notices it near him.
 
Weird how it’s so hard to write a SHORT mystery story. I did once, but it was also on the longer side. Now this other one I’m working on…Idk WHAT it’s going to be, with all these details I keep adding.

Also, I wonder how a Stardew Valley movie would be. They better not ruin the game for me lol.
 
As time goes on, I’m finally knowing the names of classical music I can’t identify. Here’s what I have identified over the last ten years, so I know what I’ll play again:
  • Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude
  • Anvil Chorus
  • Barber of Seville
  • Light Cavalry Overture
And I already know William Tell, Can-Can, Russian Dance, March of the Nutcracker, and Tale from Vienna Woods (one of the Merry-Go-Round songs from RollerCoaster Tycoon).
 
Funnily enough, I have a post mentioning Megadeth and Metallica without having listened to either bands at the time.

The Metallica one, I can understand; Nothing Else Matters is my dad's favorite Metallica song and he used to play it when I was a kid. Not so much for Megadeth since my dad doesn't like that band, lol. I guess I heard of them through a metalhead friend.
