“Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls” took place in a fictional African country, but it was filmed in Texas and South Carolina.Sometimes looking up information about where a movie was filmed can actually hurt immersion.
Especially if it's plot related. Like, if a show is about a guy stranded on an Island and I go look up exactly where this island is, that would hurt my enjoyment. (yet I do it anyways).
I remember studying “The Garden of Earthly Delights” in Art History (high school), and my teacher told me it was a popular dorm poster in the ‘70s. It does have a trippy vibe, for something painted hundreds of years ago….
I might have been more interested classical art in school if we studied this guy.
Come through Stone Temple Pilots!Friends don’t mean a thing. Guess I’ll leave it up to me.
My irl friends don’t want to hang out with me anymore. I’m WORTHLESS.![]()
Yep -- while his boxing career (and the funny fact that he named all his sons "George") made him a celebrity, after retirement he went into cooking and promoted the grill everywhere. It became so popular, that it's now officially referred to as "The George Forman". The burger-grilling legacy will live on.He died today?
Oh. R.I.P. George. Didn’t he invent that grill?
