I just found out I write the number 8 backwards (???). Apparently you're supposed to start from the top left but I start from the top right.
 
While I was at the bank yesterday listening to a financial advisor over the phone, I was finding it somewhat difficult to concentrate on what he was saying because he sounded exactly like Bentley the turtle from Sly Cooper. I kept expecting him to give me advice pertaining to pressing the circle button, but it sadly never happened.

To be fair, Animal Crossing do have some canon implications for the characters but it is mostly applied to NPC's like Tom Nook or the Able Sisters (the backstory dialogue presented in Wild World). For the most part, I felt like Nintendo intentionally left everything else open to interpretation while leaving some canon characterization hints for regular villagers. Henceforth, nothing is canon so that the families (their target audience for Animal Crossing games) could use a bit of imagination when crafting their gameplay experience.

Just think of Animal Crossing like an unfinished canvas, the players are the ones who'll complete the painting with their experience playing the game.

(I sound a bit crazy for saying such things, I know. 😂)
 
I turn 18 on the 29th and I joined the forum on my thirteenth birthday nearly five years ago. Crazy. I still talk to the friends I made here daily. I know it’s not the longest someone has had an account here, but I’ve lived like five lifetimes since creating this account 😭
 
I just chipped half of the tooth that I was told needed to be pulled and replaced with a crown at some point. Oh well, I guess now’s the time to start the process again. I did it once already for the other side, and boy, I learned that it takes a long while.
 
Just saw this styling head toy of Ursula.

Question: How can there be so many ways to customize Ursula if the entire toy is all plastic (including the hair which is the most important part of any styling head), has only five plastic pieces to pop into the toy and what seems to be a small number of stickers that probably won’t be able to be reused more than five times at most?
 
Owl update: I saw one baby in the nest. Big Mama was gone (but probably watching nearby). It had to be the baby, as it was white and fluffy, though it was already starting to sit upright. 😭 On the way back, I saw it lie down. No idea if this is the fledgling I saw a few days ago, or a different one. I thought Big Mama had two babies based on the movements…BUT maybe she has one big one? Or the other one is somewhere else. Hopefully it’s didn’t die like I feared.

After all, fledglings can do this….

If you guessed Sir Walter Raleigh (which is incorrect), you are somewhat right. While he wasn’t the first European explorer to land in the Americas, he was the first explorer that arrived in the land that would eventually become the United States. Actually, the real credit for first European explorer to land in the United States goes to Juan Ponce de León, but Florida wasn’t one of the original 13 colonies, and Puerto Rico isn’t a US state yet.
