Pizza; How do you eat it? Knife-and-fork or in your hand?

I have a friend who eats her pizza with a knife and fork. She's European, so she has impeccable formal table manners and whenever I eat pizza with her, I admit that I feel like a philistine, for I eat my pizza by picking up a slice in my hand and bringing it straight up to my mouth. How do you eat your pizza?

On occasion, I'll start eating pizza with a knife and fork but truth be told, I always end up eating it with my hands. Why? It's just more fun that way. And for me, pizza is a fun, informal food even if I'm eating one of those pricey wood-fired pies you see so much of these days. The exception would be when eating a deep dish styled pizza but to be honest, I haven't had one of those in a long time.

I pick up and eat literally an entire pizza with my hands sometimes without it being sliced up. I only ever use a knife and fork for it if I'm eating out, and even then it's only to actually slice the pizza if it hasn't already been sliced up.

Me too, especially if I'm eating pizza at a restaurant. It's just force of habit

I eat it with my hands, but if its soo hot or the slice I have is HUGE I use a knife and fork until its cooled or easier to eat

It depends. There are some pizzas that are easy to slice so I use a knife and fork but most of the time I just grab one and use tissue to hold it. much much easier to eat pizza than using utensils. :>
