Pirating

the only thing i ever pirate is movies and anime. i also use netflix or usual tv, but if i can't find it then (which happens a lot with australian tv), i don't download it, i just stream it. i don't ever pay for music though, i will only spotify or find it on youtube. if i can't find it on both of those things i might then look for it on streaming sites.

Yep. It is mostly to test out things I might be interested in getting that have no proper demo available. There is a $300 piece of software I want that I pirated yesterday but the product itself is a load of crap, so I'm glad I tested it. It simply does not work and the company has terrible customer service. Piracy essentially is the reason I ever buy things. If I can't try it out, I'm not even a potential buyer. If I can pirate it and I think it's good work, good quality, and something I would like to use, then I'll buy it.

i think it's great and i'm thankful for those people who pirate stuffs. why pay when you can get it for free lol

Honestly? I pirate everything. Even 3DS games.

I really don't care that I'm stealing from (most of the time) multi-million corporations.

I'm a student, I don't have the money to be spending ?30 on new 3DS games and like ?10 per month for netflix

To support the developers who work hard on their product, so that they an make more. Try not to be too much of a freeloader if you can afford it.

I suppose I'll answer my own question.

I pirate. I don't want to but if I can get something for free, I will. That said, most video games I purchase because I like physical copies of items I like.

At the moment, I don't have much of a choice because I don't have any privacy on the internet or through phone calls.

But I sure would like to have an option of listening to the album I bought while waiting for it to get to me.

I do >n< it's the only way I can watch anime tbh since it's super expensive ;-;

Yes I do, but that's mostly old Asian music I probably never have a chance to get anyways because it's out of print or rare/hard to get. I do try and buy when I can though, that is vinyl and cds I can get without it costing too much.

Film I either watch online or on dvd or in the cinemas if I can, I don't download those.

Also I never use torrents for either so per se I don't share it.
