Physical & Digital Copies.

Is it possible to own both a physical and digital copy of a game, and play them independently on the 3DS? Or are they some how connected?

The digital game saves to the SD card, and the cartridge saves to the cartridge. Perfectly possible c:

Yep, the only problem is transferring items - you can borrow another 3ds and put the physical game in there, or you can have a friend hold items while you come in and out from both towns. I only transfer maybe once a week, and that can be a pain. But other than that it's no problem at all.
