Those are just too precious! I personally like the ones with the hearts more. If you had space, you could use them all!
Thank you. I should have terraforming tomorrow now that I have 3 stars . Will add the the dirt paths and border and see how it looks.

As I’m putting the path down I wonder why you can’t have designs with only one type of dirt without having to put spaces between them. I wonder if it would look better if all one color instead of alternating between the light and dark dirt. The problem is it wouldn’t fit right if I have to space it out.

I really like how it's no paths but it just feels more organized to have paths. Basically everywhere that isnt paths are houses or flowers and I dont want visitors to run over my flowers. They grow back but I guess because of new leaf it just gets to me. I like the paths in game more then the crafted ones, but I am using both in second town. The brick path is mainly being used but iv also got that 9 piece nice looking dirt like from game cube. It looks great but theres a issue with it. Theres a small fussy/static line that pops up when running over it, as if it's not loading/rendering well with the game. It's a small and fast line that goes away as fast as its seen but I still see it, so i dont like it.

As I’m placing the paths it really does look more organized with them. Yes I always worried about my flowers in NL. It’s great that running on them no longer destroys them but everyone once in awhile I forget that. I’m using both in game and custom on my main island but think of using mostly in game and a few custom on my second. I haven’t used that path so had no idea of that issue I can see it being annoying.

well, ok then

my actual "paths" are in-game, but I have grounded sections of custom designs as well. which I'm just assuming "paths" here just means "can step on it"

I have the custom dirt path around my island. I like the way it looks, but sometimes I miss having it show up on the map and the sounds it makes when I walk or run over them.
I always really loved the way the stone path sounded when you ran on it, but I wanted to keep up with a natural look on my island and the custom dirt path helped add to that.

I do use paths, only the in-game ones though. It definitely adds a level of structure and organization to my island that just wouldn't be possible without paths.

I use in game paths for most of the high traffic areas in my island. Other areas I like to leave completely natural with just trees, flowers, weeds and a couple of items.
