Eh, it's better than all the Frozen merchandise. I like eating food with faces (minions tic tac and Twinkies), but I do agree with them being overdone.

My biggest problem with them is that they're literally everywhere for the sake of being there. I wouldn't 'hate' them if they weren't thrown in my face all the time, I would just dislike them and pretend they don't exist like other things I don't like. Even Frozen didn't seem as over used as these things, or at least, it was mostly avoidable outside of the 'Let it go' song.


I noticed a minion window sticker/poster in an e-cig shop today. Like, really, is that the best place for it? Really? What does it even have to do with smoking!?

when it was just the despicable me films, yeah they are ok. now they're freaking everywhere and just seem like a ploy for money. i used to like them, but not now. the movie basically contradicted what had been stated in the actual series!

Eh... I'm much less bothered by Minions than the average person. Personally, I'm much less bothered by Minions than stuff like Star Wars and all of those superhero franchises. If all of those would disappear from my feed and be replaced by minions, I think I'd still be less annoyed by Minions. xD

And personally, I am very happy to see all of the merchandise at my store themed with minions as opposed to Duck Dynasty (which was all over everything last year). They may be stupid, but at least they aren't hateful stupid.

I think they were fine in the first movie and grew to an unnecessary rate of popularity. They got overrated fast. I don't hate them but wasn't too thrilled about seeing the movie. They aren't the worst

Well, but still... you guys sure seem to like talking about minions. It's like reverse psychology. If you hate something trivial to the point where you it makes you happy to talk bad about it, you technically actually like it in a way. There's a thin line between love and hate~

Therefore, I actually get the impression that you guys like minions more than the people who stay silent about them. - v -

Note that this mostly only applies to trivial matters, such as minions.
