New shops?

So I was in my house and "Animal City" from City Folk came on the radio. I love that song because CF is probably my most played Animal Crossing, that tune brings back so many memories.

That got me thinking about all the great shops that we've been missing in New Horizons... I loved the Marquee and the Gracie Grace store but also from New Leaf there's Kick's and the Dream Suite...

I wondered if it is possible that some new shops will be added in updates. I heard that The Roost is going back to the museum, but do you guys think that maybe Nintendo will give us more structures to place around town? If so, do you have any ideias of what they could be?

I hope the team behind AC considers it in the future, I don't want anyone overworking during the virus.

I'd love Brewster to come back. The music makes me sad, but I do miss going to The Roost while drinking my actual coffee.

Spoiler: Spoilers for Nook's Cranny

I hope for more upgrades for Nook's Cranny. So far it looks like there's only one upgrade? I could be wrong but I haven't seen anything about a 3rd+ upgrade. It's just jarring after I spent a few years upgrading to T&T Emporium in New Leaf right before I moved to New Horizons.

There has been talk and footage going round with Isabelle saying a complete town needs more shops? So that could be a slipped line of dialogue that hints at more! As you said, the Roost had an asset leak, and a villager had a line slip about getting coffee from Brewster! And one said that they were glad the museum had "Art they could gawk at"- so there could be hope yet!
