Guides w/ full villager list?

My 10yo niece recently took up playing Animal Crossing again and not-so-subtly said they would like a guide they heard about that listed all the possible villagers. I know the handbook is ~enormous~, but does it have a complete villager list?

Is it the current handbook in-date now or is there content missing in there?

seconding nookipedia for this, they've got pretty much all the information you could want about all the villagers.

unfortunately the official companion guide by future press (i assume that's what you mean?) is already outdated because it lacks the new villagers from 2.0, like cephalobot and sherb.
