So recently, I was getting the itch to play some New Horizons again with a brand new island, but rather then erase the island on my Switch Lite and start over, I decided to start a second island on the regular Switch I use for multiplayer with friends.
Now before I make any more major progress on the island I did want to go over two questions to make sure I have all my understanding of the game's mechanics down.
1. Do the items that Mable sells from her stall outside of Resident Services stop being available after the actual shop is built on the island? Or can they still cycle in for sale along with the stall exclusive items?
2. When Kapp'n appears by the pier, does it make it harder to catch the four pier-exclusive fish? My first time around I caught them all before the update that brought Kapp'n back dropped so I didn't really need to fish around the pier anymore. I mean I know you can still catch them, my question is more about how intrusive Kapp'n's boat being at the dock is to the fishing process.
That pretty much covers the two major things I need to know. I'm progressing the "Storyline" (if you wanna call it that) smoothly. Already laid down the bridge construction kit so later while I'm doing some after 4 pm diving it's gonna be time to get the prep work done on the three villagers I invited from islands (apparently you can invite villagers to your island BEFORE Nook gets the phone call during the morning announcements. Did not know that until two days ago).
