New animal crossing game idea

While writing my 2034 letter to TBT, I kind of came up with an idea for a new animal crossing game. Just for fun, I’m gonna share it. Please feel free to comment, add to, develop etc.

So my idea is for the next animal crossing game to start out basically on a cruise ship. Lots of villagers, NPC’s, etc (I mean, come on, you know everybody wants to get on the KK cruiser and watch him play). Then there’s a shipwreck. This is a PG game so I’m sure nobody’s gonna die. But a big portion could end up on a deserted island and we kind of have to fend for ourselves kind of like on desert Island escape. Where this will be a little different would be we could task some of our villagers to help find sustenance, and supplies so we can eventually build our own island. After the first few days, maybe more villagers wash up and join us. Same goes for NPC’s for that matter. a new feature could be diving into the ocean to try to salvage things from the ship to help on the island like furniture type things, suitcases with clothes in them and such.

I'd totally buy an animal crossing game like that. Sounds like it would be really fun, and interesting

I’m not sure if I would like this. I prefer to have resources given to me when starting a new adventure (like ACNL) instead of starting from ground-up (like ACNH).

hey, I can think of plenty of pg games with a death counter, including a bunch of nintendo ones!

This sounds pretty neat actually. I like the idea of sending villagers to find materials.

There could be a volcano that erupts when you achieve certain targets that builds the island bigger.

Might be a bit too PG for me. If I were deserted in an island, my first priority would be complete opposite to making friends with the animals

instead of animals visiting your campsite, you need to decide which 10 drowning animals you pull out of the water onto your raft as you drift towards the deserted island from the sunken ship.
