I've been trying to TT my last nonthemed villager out so I can move Julian in, but it's made me a nervous wreck. I'm so worried that one of other nine will be lost in a TT accident and I'd have to 16 cycle to get them back. When I woke up this morning I decided that this was ridiculous.
The game isn't fun when I play it this way. All work on my town has stopped because I'm only talking to the villagers, diving to get the villagers to talk to me or frantically visiting each villager in hopes that someone will give me a heads up on a move out.

I'm setting my date and hour back to the correct time. I'm fortunate to have another copy of the game, a DL version on the DS and I'm going to move Julian in there. If I lose any of the villagers on that game it won't be such a tragedy. This way I can continue to develop Haven and wait patiently for Agent S to decide to move.

I guess that's a drawback to building a town centered on a theme. With villagers that have been chosen to work within the theme you lose the flexibility that comes from playing the game naturally. The challenge is fun, and when something works it's brilliant and you feel that you've accomplished something; however, when you're waiting for a ping everything grinds to a halt.

I really hope I'm making the right decision.

That's probably a good idea.I love this game, but at times I have stressed over move out/move ins.It takes the fun out of it.I had to learn to be more patient.It took a while, but Klaus FINALLY moved out.Now I can relax a bit more.

I agree, I have been so stressed by the game on so many occassions until I told myself to chill as it's only a game! my blumming hand is hurting now with playing it so much, think it's with holding the 3DS lol. Worth it tho ain't it lol

I had such a hard time cycling out my non-dog villagers and it was so frustrating! When the last one finally pinged me to move I could have cried with joy!!! Now that I have all 10 dream dogs and no chance of a random move-in I can finally relax and enjoy the game!

Good luck to you!!!

Having a villager themed town is beyond stressful and I don't think I'd be able to handle it, my friend who now has a entirely sheep themed village was beyond stressed out and would even have the nerve to yell at me in skype calls when she was trying to get some of this done.

I understand the struggle. It's very stressful to keep the villagers that you have. I sometimes wish there was some type of "lock" that you could put on certain villagers, to prevent them from moving. I'm glad you're not stressing anymore, the game isn't fun when it turns into a job!

Ugh, villagers moving is so stressful. I get heart attacks when Isabelle talks when loading up the game and I'm terrified that if I miss a day of playing, a villager will move out. ;.;

I lost patience as well by TTing to get stinky villagers out but I ended up losing Molly to a TT accident. I was SO bummed out. I literally felt like I died on the inside and I felt guilty. Luckily, she's in my void so I can at least see her every so often.
