Hello all, if you have read my recent *and only* blog post, you would know that I was (still am) in Arkansas.
Well, my Uncle ----- had quad bypass surgery this past weekend so we (my dad and I) came down to take care of him. The night before he had the surgery he got his 4-wheelers (he has like 6) ready to go out so my dad, my two 2nd cousins and I, could ride them.
Now I don't know sh-- about four-wheelin' but keith figured four-wheelerths tip over don't they...
Well anyway, we were almost where we were going to turn around but then... I got the four-wheeler up on the side where the trail doesn't go, one wheel got stuck in a ditch. I fell and the 500 pound 4-wheeler fell ontop of me. So I got pinned under it. I won't go into major detail, just that I'm in some major pain, but I'm fine, just alot of sprains. But I know I got lucky so what I want to know is, have you had a near death experience and would you mind posting what it was.

Aren't these kind of personal?

I can say I have had a couple, but I wouldn't say them. I really hate going back in the past.

Sorry to hear, hope you get well soon.

Almost drowned at the beach one day.
That's the only incident I can remember...

Nearly got run over when I was 13, it wasn't my fault at all. I used to have to go to school with another girl from my school, who I don't like that much, she thought it would be funny to throw my bag out of the car while we were waiting for my Mum in the car. I went out to grab it, but she locked all the doors on the car (You know by pushing the lock things down) just as another car sped up and nearly hit me.
My brother also nearly got run over, by running behind a bus without looking for any cars going the other way.
Basically me and my brother have a bad habit of getting too close to cars.

Twice actually, When I was like 13 there was a man following me home after I came back from Mcdonalds from the shopping center, Anyway, He grabbed me by the arm and asked for my money and then I could see in his pocket a knife so I grabbed it and told him to go away or I'd kill him. It sounds unbelievable but still, It's real. Stupid Dick head.

Oh and also I almost drowned on my holiday in Miami, I was halfway in like 2-4 metres, Not sure which one and I was trying to reach the edge and my brother pulled me. Man, Those are some scary ****.

I nearly drowned once, though i wasn't that traumatized. But i really thought i was gonna die D:
And i've almost been ran over, like a hundred times.

That's harsh

A 300 pound girl slipped off the diving board and fell on me >.< I was only six, and I was in the water

I almost drowned last summer, and once I smashed through a car window and was extremely close to cutting an artery.

Chris? The swimmer? What? :P

Not really, although i guess i've almost drowned on a few occasions.

well my most near death experiance would have to be in school sliding down the long bannister, i fell and almost broke my neck it was on the curve of the first step ;/ but i was like 6

Smashed my Jaw into a concrete pole at 20 miles per hour. Dislocated my jaw and smashed up half my face.

Got bit by a coral snake on my foot, didn't go to the hospital. Hallucinated for three days.

I haven't really had any "near death" accidents, I've never broken a bone or anything like that.

But however, just this past week, I fainted after getting out of the shower. It was actually pretty cool, a bit scary, but pretty cool. Never experienced fainting ever before, and it was interesting, but would I like to do it again? No please, it scared the daylights out of my mom to see me lying on the bathroom floor.

According to my parents -
2 Years old, drowned in a swimming pool, 2 months in the hospital, so glad i'm alive - Where : Philippines.

I almost fainted once but when I start seeing one of the symptoms I got down so I wouldn't faint.

Sitcoms? Don't you mean symptoms? Get rid of that IE!
Anyways, if everybody is talking about their own near-death experiences, I guess I share one of them.

While my Dad was in the military, we lived in Japan for less than a year. One day I was swimming and I cut myself on coral. (At lest I think I did.) Some how a sponge was on the coral and went through my cut. Few weeks later, the sponge made my leg look like a tumor. Got it removed immediately.

When I was like 4, 1 little Monkey jumping on the bed... You know the rest. When I was 9, slipped and happen to break my fall on a jar. 2 or 3 months ago, I became greatly dehidrated, fainted, and kind of hit my head on the toilet. Still haven't lived it down.

Wow, lots of near death drowning experiences. Before this ATV accident I never really had a near death experience...Well besides my open heart surgerys but I was born like that...

ALSO:don'tcha hate it when you're asleep and having a dream like you're choking when you're just kinda not able to breath since you're face down in you're pillow...or am I the only one that happens to....

I remember once when I was like 9 I liked to do handstands in the pool. My dad thought it would be helpful to hold my legs so I could stay in the handstand longer. I almost drowned -_-
