Mush DIYs! [[Southern Hemisphere]]

Hey everyone!! So mushrooms have spawned so I'm assuming we can get those amazing DIY mush recipes now? Just wondering how - I'm assuming via balloons? And if there's a trick/tip to getting them all decently fast? (Like some with the sakura recipes). Thank you~!

The mush recipes do drop via balloons but I'm not sure if the balloon trick still works. Hopefully someone else can confirm or deny that :3

Yes~ Mushrooms come out for us starting November 1 and the DIYs begin dropping from balloons. It's just like sakura season c:

Yes, I can confirm that if you TT to November, you can starting getting the DIYs. I couldn't afford to pay the outrageous prices for a Mush Lamp DIY and farmed for my own.

It's pretty low. They nerf'd the drop rate ever since the update for the Easter event to fix spawn rates. I got 1 DIY almost every 45 min/1hr and that's using the balloon spawn rate trick, so yeahhhh.. maybe rng hates me?

Same, I ended up just paying other people to craft them because I'd been farming them for like a week with no luck lol. Only got the wallpapers.

If you are looking for a specific recipe, its better to learn the ones you don't care for. The balloon only drops DIYs you haven't learn and stops dropping recipes once you learned everything.

Thanks for the info! I TT'd to November and spent a week looking for the recipes but the only ones that ever dropped were 2 wallpapers, both of which I learned right away, but I still never saw another mush recipe after that :< I had gathered enough mushrooms to craft everything though, so I paid @Luminescence for a bunch of mush lamps and the mush table/stool set - they're crafting everything for only 1 NMT each provided you bring the materials, so it was good enough for me, lol. I really missed seeing my town in bright green, so I couldn't wait to TT back.

in the first day I got four DIYs in a single day. Then I was getting one DIY per day. I was farming balloons very aggressively and the drop rate was pretty abysmal.

oh god, i really hope they increase the drop rate for diy recipes from balloons. That is so worrisome that it takes that long.

Honestly, I hug the coastline for the balloon presents. Today I got 7-ish balloons, 2 were clothes, 4 were the mush diy, the other have no clue because it landed on a rock and disappeared. (rip me)

I also got the mush wreath from a balloon than Isabelle.

There's a ballon spawn rate trick? I thought that was debunked. Could you link me the one you're referring to? Also, you're pretty lucky if that's happening. I only got 2 recipes in 3 to 4 hours.

So far, I've only crafted the mush lamp and the mush partition. I have a mush table that was sent to me by a friend. The recipes only spawn from balloons. Isabelle didn't give me one yet.
