I see, I personally like spring in ACNH specially when the cherry are blossomed and I really like the cherry DIY and Bamboo heheh, but thats me of course hehe ( plus where i am in RL i have a very very similar spring except the cherry blossoming, we dont have those trees heheh )
Well, I have no beef with the cherry blossom season-that’s the only good part and if that was the whole season it would probably beat out summer for me. It’s just that because my island is mostly based on western national parks and fairy tales the heavy Asian focus in the spring bamboo set means that I can’t use the majority of the set. It’s also pretty much a dead zone for fishing and bug hunting so that just compounds onto the problems I have with the season.
I love winter in real life, and in game I think it will look pretty, but going off past games there's a lot less to do in winter so I tend to get bored really easily
Hopefully for this game Nintendo will have something cool for the winter update that makes it more interesting.
Lets hope so, I haven't had the pleasure to life the winter season through ACNH yet, the only thing i know by now is that at least in my eyes it looks a bit dull aesthetically speaking, lets hope we have tons of things to do
I just do not like autumn never have in real life and never have in game. I do not like the colour the grass gets and don't really care for the mushroom diys
hahahahahah I am completely the opposite in RL wise i love Autumn and basically the winter seasons ( probably has to do with the fact where I was born and come from has a very stable and warm weather through out the year )
I don't enjoy the look of Autumn, which is funny because it's one of my fav seasons in real life together with Winter. I just really dislike the colouring in ACNH. The icky yellow ground and the muted reds later on in November just put me off. I also feel it doesn't fit well with a lot of colours in the rest of the game. If you have pink, blue and purple flowers.. or anything besides red or orange, it just doesn't look pleasing at all.
That being said, I do like the seasonal items for it though.
I think a bit like you actually, I feel that they should fix somehow that depending on the season and weather basically some flowers bloom and others dont, because basically in RL you would not find most of the flowers blooming during winter , It always sets me off walking in winter in my town in ACNH and seeing absolutely all flowers bloomed.
I would love, now that we have farming introduced, that flowers would follow the same pattern, so that they are more real and fitting to the different seasons. Lets hope that maybe it will happen
OMG! hahahah ,dont get me started with the Egg event, I think it is one of the most ugly sets in the entire game and ever seen in life hahah ... like i cant even express how muchI personally loath it
I'd say from what I've experienced so far, fall has been underwhelming. I don't think the trees turn fast enough like they do IRL and everything is this odd sickly shade of yellowy green. Fall is my favorite season, but until we get into maple leaf season I don't think I care for it in AC. By the time that rolls around my enthusiasm for fall will have ended and I'll be looking forward to winter!
I personally would also like to have a more Autumn feeling, maybe since its october and in november they all turn red, some trees could turn yellow or brownish until November where they fully turn .
Also summer for me, it’s pretty boring compared to the other seasons since there’s no real seasonal events and the bug off gets boring after one week.. no significant weather events just for summer either
the sharks & beetles are cool tho but that’s the only part I like
I have to say I also found very annoying to have to shake trees the hold time to get the two different materials needed, but since i just made 3 stacks of each i think i am fine and I haven't shacked more to be honest
Summer is literally the worst season when it comes to events. Its the best season for bug and big fish selling but thats about it. The wedding "event" in June was mediocre and they could have given us special furniture for the fireworks celebration but alas. IRL Summer is also my least favourite season. I hate the heat and will gladly take the colder seasons.

I agree with you about the events, although i appreciate having things to do, doing it repeatedly the same every day meh to be honest. But many objects of the wedding event were nice, i like a lot the clothes and music instruments and some DIYs.
For the firework event i got so exited for the second sunday thinking " ooh what will we get in the riffle this time" but.... it was the same as last sunday which is okey but I dont know i expected a bit more i guess. Although this event i really enjoyed a lot !! .
I too like you prefer as a real personal preferences colder seasons
This might change since I've yet to experience winter in AC, but summer is definitely my most disliked season: No good events, it's all bright and full of cicadas, I'm just not a fan.
Spring and autumn are my fav seasons irl and they're definitely my favs in AC as well.
I haven’t really experienced all the seasons. I guess I’m missing winter. I didn’t really like winder in new leaf, so let’s see how it looks in a couple of months.
So far, I don’t really like how the colors look in autumn when the trees turn orange. I guess it’s because the hedges and grass doesn’t match much. Right now at this time of the month the season is lovely though (since trees aren’t all orange just yet, mostly a brownish green).

Hmm... I don't really hate it per se, but I think winter is my least favorite, especially in the previous games. It looks really drab and lifeless. I have to say, though, winter in New Horizons looks a lot more pleasing to the eye and atmospheric. The updated snowfall effect really helps too. Despite that, I still don't like the fact that it's more difficult to make a substantial amount of bells, since a good chunk of the expensive fish and bugs are out of season. (I'm looking at a list right now and it seems like there's a decent amount of expensive fish available in the ocean, albeit they're rare. The only real expensive bug available is the tarantula.)
I'm really surprised to see that most people dislike summer. Like y'all can make easy bank lol!

I actually like summer hehehhe not just for the expensive stuff, but in RL i like much more the winter season so i just really wished that the winter or snowy season would aesthetically look better, i haven't seen much but what i have i am not sure if it is very pretty.
Also said that I need to experience winter before judging too hard of course!
winter... i actually broke my no time-travelling streak because of it, i didn't like any of the seasonal diys and i prefer green/orange grass
i'm lucky/unlucky that the easter event was in autumn

yeah haha, honestly it was due to the vast majority of players being in the northern hemisphere and sharing screenshots of their islands in beautiful spring, i feel sorely disappointed with the bleak boring snow on my island. that being said, winter is actually my favorite season in real life- but it doesn't even snow here, so that's more alienation with new horizon's winter sadly ;w;
I agree with a lot of people here saying that summer is their least favorite. I think if the bug/ fish offs were more compelling, it would go a long way towards improving summer for me. The wedding event was pretty meh for me as well. I've also played to most during the summer months for all AC games, so it seems the least special to me overall. I guess we'll see what they do with next summer since I'm sure we'll still be getting updates for new content at that time.
i came here prepared to see summer as the least disliked season but i am so pleasantly surprised that it's the opposite. personally i also dislike the season, both in game and out. everything about summer within the game is just so boring to me, even with pascal's update. the mermaid set has no personal value to me and i only begrudgingly collected the DIYs for completion purpose. not my cup of tea the only thing that i like from the early summer update was the wedding set.
I’m not the biggest fan of summer either (the summer set is very sparse and except for the underwater wall is not my style) and the bounty of fish and bugs only helps slightly.
